Hi friends! The time has finally come! I was able to pick up the new Le Blanc Collection 2023 from Chanel Beauty. I will be reviewing the Chanel Le Blanc 2023 eyeshadow palette in 58 Delices, which will include swatches and application. I will also be reviewing and swatching the Chanel Le Blanc 2023 blush: Chanel Fantaisie De Chanel Illuminating Powder in Pastel Fushia. Interesting that the eye palette was the winner for you over the blush/illuminator as many you tubers have raved about the blush. I adore both pieces and have purchased backups of each. I find the eye shadows very wearable and versatile, I can do a sweep of color for one and done or a more sophisticated multi color look. But I also love the blush and find that applied with a light hand it is a pretty, brightening, wash of color. I don’t find the glittery quality a big issue because the tone is not white or harsh it’s more warm and gentle. This is feminine and cheerful spring makeup and my favorite Chanel release since the Brun et Rose tweed palette.

Thank you for getting this review up so fast! 😀 I agree that Natasha's Pastel palette comes across as more colorful, which I think is true of most of her palettes because of how she arranges the shades with vibrant pops of color scattered randomly throughout. So I've actually rearranged the pans in all my Natasha Denona palettes to make them more usable. Now my Pastel palette, for example, has all the same tones grouped together and organized in rainbow order (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple), which makes it so much more accessible. As a result, I think I an recreate the Chanel quad with my Natasha Denona Pastel palette and any neutral peachy-taupe from my collection (like the shades in the Tom Ford Soleil D'Hiver quad)...yay! 😊

Honestly, of the swatches on your hand, the Chanel really does look the prettiest! But if someone would like an alternative, I highly recommend the Chanel blush Pink Explosion. Looks bright in the pan but is lovely on the cheeks!

Thank you. I was interested in the blush but now I’m passing. 80.00 for pretty much a highlighter on my skin tone. I have the pink RMS and the Haus Labs pink blushes and love them and I have the pink highlighter from Haus labs so I’m good. The palette is so pretty but it’s not going to pretty much show up on me so passing on the palette as well. I love the look you created though. Very pretty

I do love the Chanel Blush in my opinion so worth the hype and money. I dont think I own anything this beautiful. I do agree with Sofia, the packaging is kinda chanel basic ( they should have Come up with a pink, pearly white compact 💖 ) I paired this blush with the Dior backstage rosy glow and it was perfection. 😍

I picked up both - I never use highlighter as the ones I have tried do exaggerate my texture and I actually love that blush. Maybe it was because how I prepped my skin and the foundation I used but that blush looked awesome, I loved it. Love the eyeshadows as well. It is a lovely collection ❤

Great review. I love this eye palette. I don’t usually jump to buy with a CC palette due to poor color payoff. But this one made me add to cart so fast. I am on the tanner side and the colors still showed so well. Considering a back up. 😮

Surratt Barbe a Papa is a great option for the Chanel blush, I’ve had that shade for awhile and I absolutely love it, I skipped the blush for that reason but I got the eyeshadows, ever since I saw them I fell in love, thank you for the great review Sofia!

This review is so spot on! Well done Sofia! I have the blush because I saw it in store and I’ve been on the hunt for a very light soft baby pink blush. I have French Rose and the Dior and a Flower beauty blush all in that cool tone pink family but none are quite as light and bright as the Chanel. She’s shiny but I don’t find it to be unflattering on my skin and I’m a few years older than you. I don’t regret buying it despite the cheap feel of the packaging because I do feel like it’s novel in my collection and I think it suits my cool toned fair skin really really well. I wasn’t tempted by the eyeshadow but I’m a bit tempted now!

This was a wonderful video! Do you think you could do a short/ reel comparing the Guerlain quad with this one? Obviously, the blue and pink shades won't match up, but I'm very curious about the differences between the purple, gold, and brown shades

My blush arrived today:) I absolutely LOVE it!!! I don't find it glittery at all just very shimmery and luminous. I'm nc25 so it shows up as a blush. Yes, def overpriced for the presentation but the product quality is spectacular imo. I loved the shadows too but I was able to dupe them with a couple Mac shadows and a few from Urban Decay Born to Run. I apply them in the same manner as you did. I've seen other youtubers apply them differently but I think this showcases the pallet the best❤ Both products look stunning on you!

Thank you for the thorough and honest review. Since you asked for your viewers’ opinion/experience with this collection, here goes. Eye quad: as someone with a fair-cool-leaning (not pink) skin tone, I love the light-to-mid tones of the quad, although I wish the lavender shade were more pigmented. Blush: it is a true blush tone on me and since I don’t need to layer it, I get a natural-looking sheeny blush tone without any visible glitter. I agree with the blush alternatives you recommend - and for fair persons like me, the Valentino blush shade Rosa Emozione is more muted, but as lovely as the Chanel - they’re my two favorite blush shades. Looking forward to your next video!

@@hijennwu visit with caution lol. I have pale skin with pink undertones and had everything swatched on my arm and everything was beautiful. The lipsticks both the balms and the liquid are gorgeous. The Lila baume and the Fuschia blush are so pretty together and of course the eyeshadow palette. I ordered all of it which shocked me since I was not interested in any of it. It’s a light ethereal, pretty spring look that you’re going for with this. Sorry if I couldn’t pin point one thing. I wish I could believe me! Lol

Beautiful look. Love Chanel. I wore since my 20’s. And even if i want more edgy look, i still choose Chanel😜 i skipped spring summer collection, but i love that red editorial look, on Chanel model. I recreated with very similar, to red team, Lapausa blushes and Dior backstage pink blush but that Chanel red mascara, its so gorgeous, on blue eyes. I cant get enough of that look🤪 This pastel look love it as well. I got quad, blush, lilac balm stick and lip laque in tentation( its little bit too dark, but wearing as stain, is really pretty. Now i am waiting when LE will restock sorcery palette 😂 i probably not going to buy any makeup, till holiday collections. The only thing i might give in, is Hermes bronzer, but i am not ready to wear bronzer yet. SF its already too long summer, and i get bored from bronzed looks🤪 Have a blessed day🙏💗

Great and thorough review as usual! 🙌 Thank goodness I saw the quad in store and confirmed as suspected that it’s just too soft/light for my tan skintone. Wouldn’t do a thing for me. Also, I’d love to see Chanel upgrade their palette component and put MORE product in it too! 😂 2 grams of shadow is NOT sufficient and the palette itself is just so flimsy and I heard the clasp doesn’t hold well and breaks. Thank goodness my palettes haven’t but others say theirs has. The Fantasie blush reminds me so much as if they duped Dior’s fun pink highlighter blush 601 Hologlam. I get a strong suspicion that they did. Lol! Just like all brands have jumped on the bandwagon of Dior’s Backstage, my much loved bubblegum Pink blush, of which I had LONG before it became an Instagram baddie and now the TikTok spring and summer all brands on deck duping rage! Lol! I got me my panning dents to prove it. I love me my bubblegum pink blushes for sure and always have. I like that they keep their true color and don’t oxidize and also they overlay to brighten other blushes to perfection. Started my collection of that color blush literally unawares to myself long long before this trend. 🤦‍♀️🌸💖💞

@@SofiaSeesBeauty I got the blush nearly a month ago and loved it. I was not interested in the quad but after seeing how much you like it and what you pointed out as pros and cons I purchased it. No regrets, so different to my other Chanel quads and pigmentation is spot on. I really like it. It is my new colourful palette for work for a little while longer before we get into winter. My blush comes tomorrow and I am so excited! I’m slightly more fair than you and my SA tried it on me and I just loved it on my fair skin. The finish is definitely more metallic than anything I have and it just feels very special. It’s probably a little more natural on me because I am so fair. The eyeshadow palette didn’t interest me but I love it on you. I’m sure I would enjoy it but I’m waiting for Tom Ford lol Great review!

Do you know what this blush reminds me of a lot? Haus Labs Rose Quartz highlighter - it’s almost identical to me. That being said, I’m so happy to have this collection, very very happy! But yeah, try this HL highlighter - it’s a dupe, I swear!

The swatch of the Chanel blush looks veryyy similar to MAC Dilly Dolly! Which I think is discontinued, but I have it, so that’s good enough for me to skip the $80 blush lol. I always appreciate your swatches and reviews !

Hi Sophia! How would you compare this palettes formula to the Mediterraean quad from last years Le Blanc collection? That one is STUNNING, but the tweed ones were awful!

Hello! I didn't get that one before it sold out sadly. But I can say that this one is nothing like the tweeds which I really didn't like. The pigmentation was very weird and not enough. I like that this is soft but I don't have to try at all to get it to show up

so happy to watch your review!! i’ve been back and forth on this collection and felt hearing your objective stance would help guide me best 🤪. that quad is so dang cute to look at. i’d have fun wearing it, but would i have fun wearing it often enough for $70 without cute packaging? tbd 😂 i think if i end up liking the blush i will pick up the haus labs one. i like its packaging and the price point is way better. i don’t like glittery blushes so unless it can be buffed out to more of a shine i may pass altogether. it was so helpful seeing the blush swatches next to RMS and DIOR. i like the glow of the RMS one better i think, and DIOR would be more versatile paired with a pinky highlighter. loving the packaging as much as the product has helped influence my purchases. 🥰

Sofia put a lot of the blush on to show us the color and I think that is why she saw glitter. I’ve used my Chanel blush two times so far and I didn’t see glitter. To me it has glow and a golden shift. If you can go to a Chanel boutique and see it in person. I personally think it’s gorgeous and doesn’t enhance texture of the skin.

@@kristamarie02 hello! an update for you: i finally stopped by the boutique bc i really need to see the collection in person to decide if the colors worked on my complexion. welp, it all looked beautiful lmao. yes, a little light on the skin but in that beautiful Spring, fresh pastel way. the beauty advisor demonstrated the 72 eyeliner in rose gold under my lash line and used it as a shadow base as well on the lids and that really took the look to a whole new level lol. the blush is currently sold out but i agree it's beautiful on the skin! hoping the Haus Labs in Rose Quartz does just as much justice. i do think the RMS in french rose is a great alternative as well.

This collection looks so pretty! I’m surprised the blush/highlighter is glittery, though! I was really thinking of buying it, but not now! I have the RMS, but I’d like something as light as the Chanel as well. Maybe I’ll look at the Haus Labs

I heard that the Haus Labs one is pretty similar. I don't mind the sparkle, but I've asked for second opinions and the conclusion was that the sparkle was noticeable on my cheeks

Try Sisley L’orchidée highlighter blush , the rose one. Its very pretty. If i didnt love Chanel so much, i might would skipped it, because Sisley one is absolutely stunning and blurring😜

@SofiaSeesBeauty Interesting….I do not find the Chanel blush glittery at all? It’s very flattering on my 48yo skin, it doesn’t accentuate fine lines or texture at all. For reference I’m pale with cool/rosy undertones (Chanel B10/BR12 foundation shade) and on my cheeks this is a lovely cool pink blush shade (not bubblegum or bright pink like the Dior backstage). The highlighter properties are very subtle which I like because in general I am not a highlighter fan. I passed on the eyeshadow quad - I have heaps of lilac/purple shades already (this is the only colour that appeals to me in this quad) - that yellow colour and the peach and brown colours would just be foul on me - I avoid warm colours like the plague LOL. Happy to save AUD112 on the quad since the blush was AUD100…..

i think the basic packaging is what’s helping me to resist this 😂. i love looking at the quad colors but the thought of a lot of black Chanel products that i can’t tell apart is a turn-off 😂. if i try it in store tho i might cave on the quad 🥹

I bought the blush, lol now I wish I had waited, I was afraid it might just be a highlighter. Ughhgh the embossing always gets me and the eyeshadow quad I had to stop myself, but I went by exactly what you said the colors are just not what I reach for. It is something different from Chanel. I wish they would change up the packaging honestly, like atleast for limited collections and give us something different and fun.

Hi Sofia 😊 Hi everyone 😊 So interesting! Do you have some of the old Chanel blushes? I know you are away from home right now so you probably don’t have any with you if you do have them. Many of them had quite a bit of shimmer in them, especially the LE ones, this sounds like they are going back to their old formula. I don’t get mine until tomorrow so I’ll get to see and compare to my older Chanel blushes in the shimmer category. I watched Brie Moore here on KZfaq and she has a deeper skin tone and she loves the whole collection. I follow a variety of people to get different perspectives and support people of color because they get less viewers unfortunately because KZfaq doesn’t push their content. That’s a whole lotta BS on KZfaq’s part and just because someone doesn’t have your skin tone doesn’t mean they don’t have amazing content. Sorry, it just makes me upset. My siblings are darker skin tones and it’s quite obvious I have a different experience walking through life and it shouldn’t be that way. Thanks for the review! I couldn’t agree more with you about the blush. I love it but I don’t understand the huge hype around it. Everyone seems to think the blush is better than the eyeshadow pallet but I think the opposite. I’ve been using the eyeshadow all the time. No one is comparing it to the Natasha Denona sunrise pallet and that was the pallet I used to “dupe the vibes” to decide if I wanted to pick it up. I’ve also been using the pallet in combination with the Guerlain. I love using the yellow all over the lid.

the eye palette is beautiful -- I've seen it on many youtubers by now, and every time someone does an eye look with this palette, I think it looks best with before folks apply mascara -- it's very spring/summer, youthful, feminine and light with no mascara 💜

Maybe because they put too much mascara, you know all that volume… if you just slightly coat the lashes, i think it would not overpower the look, unless you already have dark , good eyelashes, so of course no need of mascara.

Sometimes the embossing doesn’t go away, I have two blushes of the past collection and it is still there. I think that for 80$ it should keep his original design. The moon one is more “persistent”?

I think it depends on the product and the brush that you use. With this blush I tend to go in with a bigger brush and swirl it around. Whereas with the other highlighters I’m just adding a little bit and the embossing seems to stay better🙂

For more examples the orange shows up overly heavily on my fair cool skin. It's more warm toned than I would like. It's my least favourite shade in the palette. I would also say rose gold is not a neutral shade, its definitely warm leaning.
