Mothers thai, she is superstitious of preloved items too, she just gets it blessed, thai people also get homes and cars blessed. I always go with it's positive vibes, but I make up stories of the items past life. It's my favorite thing with preloved bags, I wonder who owned it and where the bags bin, I go with preloved loved again, we don't give up on love in any form.

oh I love this so much! I've heard some people saying they don't like anything second hand because of superstitions etc. but as an archeologist would say when finding something that to others would look just as a simple rock, a used thing, or a tool 'I like to imagine the person who owned it, how they used it and what they created with it' and I love that, your comment reminded me of that. I sold all except one Chanel bag years ago. I kept a small quilted navy bag with a leather shoulder strap. The brand has done nothing to inspire me for years.

I have been buying from other designers for years (Gucci, etc) i bought my first o case medium and it is fabulous, I remember your video about the 2.55 o case and as you described the leather is smooth like butter. BUT, my o case is second hand from 2015 for like US$400 from an established second hand boutique (it came with the card, dustbag, box, the instruction thingy and even the ribbon). I checked the stores before purchasing this second hand one (I would actually prefer to buy a brand new one). Unfortunately, the quality of the newer ones (which are like over $1,000) are giving Charles and Keith, especially with the caviar leather options..

It seems to me that Chanel raises their prices on beauty every January if I'm not mistaken. My sales associate would advise me to stock up on my makeup because the prices were going up. The prices are getting too high and I'm seeing issues with some of the quality of the products. I never ever saw problems with the makeup until this year. I'm reading the book you suggested Coco Chanel the Legend and the Life. It is such a great book and to read about how she built that company and to see what is happening with the quality, breaks my heart. Leena sounds like every HR person I have ever had to deal with and every company training I've gone through. Never speak against the company. You are pinned as negative, and you can bet that you will be labeled as a troublemaker.

Except a few which make me mad. ha. (cause Carrie is so mean and thoughtless she has like, horns)...they did set a baad example. haha. I am so excited to learn of LIz's channel!! I bit my tongue like this a few months ago, and the salt water is absolutely the best! I would gargle with it every night and it helped it sooo much! You can also use an over-the-counter numbing product too.

There is a big change coming in clothing manufacturing. Basically it’s going to be completely automated. You start with feeding the raw material into the machine. It makes the fabric in just the right amount to be able to be processed into a specifically designated size that has been pre-ordered. No waste from start to finish. Essentially “fashion” will become an automated, mechanical, bespoke garment industry. The idea of making fabric, cutting and then sewing seems will go the way of pen knives and cutting quills to make a pen. Your body will be scanned so your EXACT measurements will be used. The fabric and the garment will be created at almost the same time. There might not need to be ANY seems. It will probably be stretchy. The designer can tweak the design at any point in the process. Preordering means there will be NO excess product or inventory. If a garment is damaged or you want the same garment again, it will be on file. Another problem that this will guard against is the fact that all fashion houses chase basically the size 8 or smaller customer. This may not be the average customer or even the predominant customer. The most numerous customer and the most difficult to fit will be all outlier sizes that are not being attended to. Plus size, petite plus, petite- those “size shadow” sizes, 14 to 18 petite. Much of this process is already happening in production of medical appliances, replacement appendages, back braces etc.

For your swollen tongue - dissolve I Alka Seltzer in water then use it to wash your mouth, particularly the bitten swollen area. There’s no need to swallow it. The soluble Asprin in the Alka Seltzer will reduce the swelling. For a site throat gargle with it - again, no need to swallow it. The Aspirin coating the area will reduce the soreness. This was prescribed as to me by my Doctor. It works.

I don't remember one single piece of Chanel clothing from the horrible Cruise Show. I think Lena (sp) is existing in a completely different demographic I'm sure that she believes in what she's saying - she's living in a completely elitist, sheltered world and that's why we're getting the poor quality crap we're getting. My guess is that she simply doesn't see what is really going on TODAY. Completely unaware and living a corporate life.
