I have Viseart Soleil le Plage and Lapis palettes so I can dupe the color story. And the blue from Bridgerton 1 palette for a more sparkly version. I’m good. But the Chanel blue would be perfect.

I already have 3 of the colours in this quad too however, if you want to take a palette on holiday it’s impractical to bring so many just to achieve one look. I think this is a palette I would take on holiday - but I still haven’t purchased it 😅

Sometimes I wonder if the SAs hoard the limited edition products and then re-sell them on other outlets (such as eBay or Poshmark) at a huge markup. Why else would they be reluctant to sell them at the listed price?

Hi! I found that the blue in the Rivage quad is much less impactful than the promo photos. Furthermore, none of the YT reviews I watched before purchasing it mentioned that the blue is sheer and subtle. I am very fair and I am happy with this quad because all the Rivage shades are light, so I can use all four shades to create a look that is workplace appropriate. Thank you for trying to dupe the Rivage blue. I am satisfied that I made an un-dupable purchase. Thanks again.

I totally agree with you! I picked this quad also because it’s a fuss-free daily quad with that twist of blue that stays wearable and it’s unique. I much prefer lighter quads, I don’t like smokey looks for the office

I want to say maybe close to one of the blues in the CDP Azulen quad . Not sure but idk why im thinking one of those was close. I have been using the Byzance cristal topper blue on top sometimes just to add something other then the pearly beige o also the brown in the Cristal pallet for a cooler look .

I also purchased this AND the blue eyeliner AND the mermaid glow against my no-buy. Oh well, the thing with Chanel is the tone in colours, so elegant, un-dupable. The blue, white and brown shadows had my heart. The white is very useful for transforming other shades. I purchased mine in my local Chanel boutique. I very much dislike unfriendly staff selling luxury brands.

Right? Chanel SAs in that store are known to be unfriendly. Anyway, I wore the quad today and I got compliments. The blue is fantastic

Very interesting. I didn't buy the Holiday palette but, like you, I have many but just loved the look of the Rivage collection in one palette too much to pass. I really like the top two shadows although the 'topper' is very like the illuminizer which I also bought. The bottom two are nothing unique but very wearable for me - I find less pigmented but smooth shades easier to work with on my ageing eyes. Very happy with this purchase.

I went back & forth on this palette but recently ordered. Haven't received it yet but it does look like a unique blue. Looking forward to seeing your review once you've tried it.

Totally understandable why you caved in :) I knew from the beginning that I wanted the Rivage quad. I hesitated to buy the eyeliner and the nail polish, and when they were sold out, I was a bit upset, and that indicated to me that I really wanted them. So I went to the Chanel boutique and found them there. Can't be more happy with my purchases! Such a stunning collection overall! Looking forward to see what the Cometes collective will bring us in the future releases.

In NL that is actually not the case. I was fooled twice by the "exclusive" label and purchased straight from the Chanel website. Both times everything was ultimately in both douglas and ici paris AND on top of that I could have bought them 20-25% off. I am still not planning to get this quad but curious to swatch in in store.

Ok, thanks for the info. In Italy I have experienced that for the quads: Eclat the Nuit was not labeled as Exclusive and it appeared in other retailers, while the Byzance collection as well as this one were only in Rinascente (that is more or less the equivalent of the Bijenkorf in NL). But I will pay attention in the future to find a better way to know it ☺️😘

@@bobmindset Honestly there is no way to predict. I have not seen Rivage in the other retailers yet and I noticed it is sold out on the Dutch Chanel site. It is actually kind of annoying not knowing where it will be sold. I think ultimately if one really really doesn't want to miss on an item it is best to get it from Chanel. Otherwise wait a bit.
