Thank you so much for sharing your story, Christina. I lost my mom unexpectedly last year and admittedly found myself making more beauty purchases than I typically would before her passing because of the reminder of her. Something about these pretty little things made me feel reconnected to her in a way because I knew how much she would’ve enjoyed them and that we would have enjoyed them together. It sounds silly and I’ve definitely had to dial back that thinking and try to retrain my mindset so that shopping isn’t a coping mechanism but I honestly think many of us can relate. Everyone grieves differently. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss and thank you for being so open and vulnerable sharing such a beautiful story. God bless ❤

Staci, 🥺..I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing your parents suddenly, is so hard to process. We had a month to hear my mom’s diagnosis to the time we laid her to rest. I too had many years of spending to cope, and it took counseling and time. After 14 years I can tell you that you will always miss her, but you learn to live a life that no longer has them here. The memories are less painful and you are able to smile more when thinking of them. Thank you for sharing your heart. Grief is a strange thing, and you are right we all do it differently. She will always be with you 🕊️You and your family are in my heart🌸.

Same feelings, Christina. I lost my mom recently and emotions that are triggered can be good if you are reminded of a happy time that she was a major part of in your life. Enjoy and smile!

I’m so so sorry to hear about your recent loss Veronica.🥺Unfortunately, unless you experience it, it’s not understood quite the same. I debated editing that part out, as that was not my intention to go there, but I felt like it’s a human experience we all will share at some point..and if you can find joy and happiness in the heartache, then you can still live the life they always wanted for you. To be joyful and full life to its fullest. My heart is with you and your family🌹

Thank you for sharing! I am always drawn to Chanel Blushes, but bought all of the winter glow blushes and thought this one looked like a combo of the coral and mauve. Think I’m safe to skip this blush. The Balm Essential is up my alley as well as the pink quad!

Hi Christina beautiful looks, i am so sorry for your loss. I know that having this collection brings you happy and sad memories . I cant feel your pain, my mom still alive, but i havent seen her for many many years. Now for 14 years, i have been living in and out hospitals, fighting for my husband’s life. He became paralyzed and its been very hard. 3 icu’s …. and becoming caregiver in late 30’s ., something you dont expect . Its different kind of life. Anyways i love the collection. I also love fairytales. Thats why Chanel, as brand is my favorite. Their collections always has some kind of theme, and then they connect with makeup, and i just love it all😊. So i got both quads , blush, eyeliner and lip balm in anemone. I skipped both highlighters, cause it looks so gliterry and i already got all 3 from Les symbols and duo from holiday. So i think its enough 😳😝 although for some reason, everyone who liked white oversized one, are saying that this one is better🤔😳 and balm stick, i probably have like 5, from LE collections, plus suqqu in pinkish shimerry. Your heart shows so brilliantly in the love you show and continue to show your husband. I do hope that you and your mom are able to reconnect soon. You looked so beautiful, the headband is just lovely! The story of you seeing the Little Mermaid when you were six with your parents is so touching. I was getting emotional with you. I know she was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul because that is how you are my dear❤❤❤ The 88 Coral is stunning! I looooved the soft pink coral eye look! The blushes were very prettu. I liked the peach and mauve equally. The Pillow Talk lippie went well. Okay the Rivage color story color is my fave. I adored the eye looks! The Cinderella blue eye look was my favorite with this collection! L’Ocean is just gorgeous!! You created such beautiful looks as usual. I really enjoyed this video 💃🏿

I would love to call you by your name, only if your comfortable of course💓 Thank you for that lovely comment about my mom…she was a rare creature indeed. Loving and kind to everyone she met. She had about 1,000 people at her “Homegoing” service. To see what she poured into people in her 50 years of life really impacted me. I hope to aspire to be even a fraction of her🕊️ I loved both palettes, but the Rivage is something really special. 💙 I really hope they restock it! Did you end up picking anything up? Eclat de Nuit was the first i think from the collective . I could be wrong the LB might be but definitely the Eclat de Nuit was from them it was the first released of the soring quads shown for the soring collection for them . I got the eclat de Nuit and the 78 i skipped the coral one its just not my colors but looks amazing on u. I skipped the LB to i wanted so bad for it to be cool but to me it wasnt really the red pink shade threw me off alot so i skipped it , im not into the reds and bright darker pinks. I skipped the LB blush to because i thought they would not really show up on me but i been thinking of them nonstop so i might get one before they disappear for good . I saw the spring 2023 blush on Macari for like 140$ brand new in box if u want to spend that much for it 😂 they be going crazy with the prices on there they put the 78 quad up for like 160$-270$ and people are actually buying them . I really wish they would reformulate the perm blushes cant believe they messed them up so bad but their limited blushes are so good , i absolutely love the Beige Coral one .

Hi Heather, you know you may be right about that. Seeing as though that was the first collection to come out this year! They are NOT worth the crazy up pricing for sure!🤭. I really hope Comete’s Collective revamps the blushes. Chanel’s blushes use to be my absolute favorite💓

Hmmm…that is tough. I REALLY like them both. I think it depends on if you are a neutral girlie or like color. I will wear neutrals and have come to like them, but I’m my heart of hearts I love color. So, I think I would choose Coral Treasure personally💓

@Camerashy03 hmmm…kind of. The Chanel palette one has pink and coral colors. The only similar shade would be that pretty almost Violet color, but that’s were the similarities end.
