This is how you change the wax filter on a Phonak Audeo hearing aid

Thanks so much. With your help, I learned what those long black things with the white tip were for and I changed the the wax filters on my Phonak Audeos and fixed the "no sound" condition of my left ha, so you made me happy.

Thank you. This a good troubleshooting when Phonak Audeo hearing aids are not functioning right. I thought I just accidentally turned it off and been doing the off and on button. So I just changed the wax filter and voila it works again.

I have a hearing aid just like that I got from the VA. I never knew what the CERUSTOP pkts that came with my hearing aid were for. Now I do. Thank youLarryIdaho

I received my Phonak Audeo V90 from the VA during mid 2016. The young lady who worked with me was very thorough on the use, functions, maintenance and cleaning of the hearing aids, including replacing the wax guard and cleaning it with the brush included in the case. I purchased several spare cases and keep one in each of my vehicles with spare batteries. The come in handy if I get caught in a rainstorm, I can take the hearing aids out and store them safely in my vehicle. Just got through calling the VA to order another batch of batteries, wax guards and earpieces.
