in the first one, I think the integration is wrong because the x in the numerator is supposed to be treated as a constant and taken out, but in here you've forgotten about it entirely.

no sir is right when x out but intrigration is [1/x]×[tan^-1(y/x)] so x/x=1 so sir cut them so sir is right and solution is right

Till graph I am ok, I have problems with assumptions, @ 08:04. the 45 degree line is totally symmetric in x & y direction. the upper and lower limits can be considered same logically. I don't see a compelling reason to consider upper limit at one end as y=x. Why cant the upper limit be 'a' for y too. since the area can never cross the bounds of 'a'. ideally i think for both x and y limits should be 0 to a. for solving problems you may bring different logics but if I am solving seeing the graph I would put the limits from 0 to a. if you can convince me, please!

Because for 'y' we are going from bottom to top of the given area, that's why we have to first consider the line of y = 0(which is the lower limit of y) and then as we move up, the curve we are approaching is x=y or y=x, so the integral limits of y are from 0 to x 🙂

After changing the Order.. X becomes the independent variable meaning it should not contain y variable as the limit.. Only the constant that is x upper limit a and lower 0..y being the dependent variable must contain a variable x in the limit now.. If you say the lower limit of Y as -a then Y being the depemd variable obtaining a constant "a alone which is not possible
