Still a life saver 15 years later on windows 11

After using the StickyKeys backdoor to gain access to the Command Prompt, I couldn’t change the user passwords for some reason-so I followed your directions and made myself administrator, thereby overriding the existing user profiles and gaining access to Windows. Thank you!

This still worked to reset the administrators password in Windows 10 Pro, after I enabled it. Simple, yet effective !

You can change the password via CMD without even know the username nor the password, with this command : net user %USERNAME% NewPassword Hit enter and the password will change for the current user. If you want change the password for another user on your computer then type : net user, hit enter, get a user's name and type this command : net user The_Username NewPassword If it says : ACCESS DENIED, run the CMD window as and Administrator.
