*Purchased this to try and understand **manifestation.guide** what a friend was going though. Not a prolific reader, so wasn't sure how i would get on with it. The book is very well written and can be read in small chunks. Explains things in simple terms as well as going into more complicated detail. Very well written. Thank you*

My grandmother was Scottish. We had a trivet for hot plates that said "A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like A Medicine." So I would say that number 10 on Sahdgru's list is my favorite. Also, thank you for compiling these lists from his many talks. It is good to see them together. I live in Florida but I once traveled all the way to Detroit, Michigan to see him. He is very wise. And mesmerizing... so thank you for your work.

"Make your own movies" can be taken in a wrong way. One may start living in fantasies. I liked that don't identify with any thing. That way you are open minded and can see more truth. Good collection of talks.

I've never heard Sadhguru speak.... and wow. All the intellectuals out there are very smart, they possess incredible intelligence and give insight into true critical thinking, but this man seems to transcend intelligence, goes above simple right and wrong. I'm blown away by these short clips of his talks... I can't imagine how I'll feel after listening to hours of his speeches. What a beautiful man. Thank you for this. He's extremely unique in comparison to any great mind I've sat & listened to here.

I have found peace, happiness, serenity through Jesus Christ. Now, before anyone flings mud at me, please consider; I don't begrudge anyone the right to seek happiness elsewhere. I simply stated that this is where I have found mine. I am a recovering alcoholic (sober 18 years) and I carried a lot of guilt and shame that I just could not get free of through the western method (psychiatric, medical). In Jesus I have found that forgiveness. I wish all seekers can find their peace through whatever means they employ.

I liked "Produce Nice Movies" the most. I worry a lot about things outside of my control - and like he said 99% of the time what I worry about doesn't even happen. So instead of making horror movies for myself (that may not even matter) why don't I put my creativity towards thoughts I enjoy?

Mark Twain said "I've suffered a great many tragedies in my life, some of which actually happened." i have found that my mind tends to sway towards nightmares or negativity. What I have been doing as of late is imagining things that brought me or bring me joy. Neuroplasticity...we can "re-wire" the brain... When I find I am turning towards negativity I am 'practicing" quickly imagining something pleasant.. In reality, anything and everything, even if it's "probable," outside of this moment right NOW is imagination...yesterday is imagination, anything outside of now in the future is imagination... Preparation for the future is necessary and appropriate, however, the future is imaginary.. ;) there is nothing but NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW

Number 3 really resonated with me and I think this all the time. If you learn how to actually realize that your time is limited and so limited in fact that you might have 5 years left instead of 50 (or even 6 months, 2 weeks, 4 hours, really anything is possible) you will not indulge in unnecessary fights, quarrels, complications, and stresses. When you realize what you are doing this very moment could be the last thing you do before a sudden heart attack or earthquake that takes your life you will learn to place value in the moment. Continue to do this and you will put your foot down when something is draining your joy out of life and form a fierce sense of indignation against injustice. You will realize that like yourself, all are mortal in this life, and when one's right to live freely is trampled you will feel more for that person and make a stand for them consciously to defend their right, but subconsciously and more importantly to give value to the moment you are living in which is ever fleeting. I think this point is key to empathy as well as to positively aiding your own life in all ways possible. If we can't stop to evaluate the moment we are living in and appreciate its place on the timeline of our lives, soon all will be lost and nothing will have been truly lived.

I've been following Sadghuru for a few months..Went and saw him speak when he was in Seattle in October. Been reading his book Inner Engineering and practicing, with him as my guide, the Kriya meditation(most days) for a few weeks.. He has been a great help... I was a daily meditator for the last 3 years prior to coming across Jaggi and have had profound, amazing experiences, however, the Kriya meditation has been "different" somehow... It'(life) is quite an amazing journey isn't it?

My favorites and why: 3) On Mortality - Some days I waste SO MUCH TIME on things I feel at the time are important, but could have been spent on something so much more important (example: calling or spending time with a loved one.) 6) Don't Identify Yourself with Anything - I'm in the very early stages of starting an online business and blog and have been PUSHING AND TRYING AS HARD AS I CAN to just find a friggin' niche, even just one to start out with. The main reason I'm having this problem is that I am such a generalist. But my gut says NO to every idea I have come up with so far. He wasn't even talking about niches but I think he just solved my niche problem. Screw it - I'm not picking one. Cue sigh of relief. 7) Fix Yourself - I agree with you, I think that is the best one. It's already your favorite, probably for similar reasons, so I won't ramble about that one. But it's so important AND that was the first time I heard someone say that bliss is essential for growth. Loved the last sentence he said on that one.

Wonderful. In fact (for now) the various different indian gods comments have a great resonance with me, about God being a man or a woman, which question is, in itself, very very silly. Why is it silly? Because God is everything. I am working on the one about "Don't identify Yourself with Anything" which is hard - all my life (and maybe yours too) I have been told to BE something, thus identifying myself with something and thus restricting myself to that limitation. But I have rebelled and been ridiculed for that - but so what, I have been many different things. I am blessed by that! So I want to appreciate that and stop trying to be a particular TYPE of human

All the 9 points can be applied successfully, but only when you are not surrounded by human beings. When you are alone, everything is achievable. The dog that Sadguru talked about is peaceful because he is not surrounded by dogs (his relatives) but by human beings.

Thank you for uploading this video mate. I have watched all of these full videos separately.. All his opinions ar highly regarded but my favorites are point 5 and 9. 5, because its very relevant to my life. Being single and very blessed mum, i have my own fears and i do fight bit of anxiety at times. 9, because i have in my past 7 years, never fallen sick because im conscious of my health as my kids have only me, ure mind is certainly very strong, if u ask it to work well, it will. I was a single mum when i delivered my younger son and trust me, people were shocked, i was running around within fe mins after delivering him, cause i knew im d only one for both my kids and never looked back. No rest but still going strong. Thank you Sadguru for all you teach us. U have touched lives of millions and im one of them. We love you. Thank you Evan.

I am listening to Sadguru for the first time today and it has been quite an amazing experience. I have to say that I had major bias towards "Indian Babas" type people, having encountered some thieves in the process. Indians will know exactly what I mean. Anyway, glad to have found his wisdom and way of life.I like mortality thought the best. I had this on my desk for a long time-" when work gets overwhelming, remember you are going to die:-)"

i agree with him when he says that 70% of the world's illness is self-created. I also believe that if we just lay in bed avoiding the weather, we will fall sick. However, when our body is sick, sometimes it is telling us there is something wrong, and by listening to it and resting instead of forcing ourselves to work during the worst of the breakouts, it would help us in a way. As long as we don't use our sickness as an excuse to avoid other life's problems.

All he says is so friggin' good it's hard to pick a favorite but one thing he said that stuck is "where do you see me?" i.e. everything is experienced within !!! My first experience of Sadhguru was at a gathering where he gave a talk and answered questions from the audience and i was so unaccustomed to his approach i didn't quite get what he was saying! Thank God for these youtube posts as it gives me a chance to take it all in. but even this is limited. i would really like to take lessons with him in person that would be awesome!!!

To me, all 10 rules are relevant. They can all work together to produce a better me and a better life for me. I've been searching for a number of decades and my youth was wasted on the typical groanings the world produces. Turning 60 changed me like a flip of a light switch and things became clearer. People are more aware now, use the knowledge out there to produce a better you and a better life. You have the ability to change everything because it comes from within you - good and bad. Get that right and the things that you have no control over (the external things) will no longer torment you daily. You are so much more than you think:) Love yourself and love each other, peace and happiness everyone and thank you Evan. Look forward to more from your channel.
