Gosh, how much I love this scale! It resonates so much with my heart and it generally reminds me so much of the ups and downs we all experience in life... like it is singing the soundtrack of life. These sweet melodies came right from my heart, I hope it reaches yours as well 💛

Beautifully played as ever Julia. I forgot to notice that your eyes are closed most of the time in your videos! That certainly has to be one of the keys of your sound that comes straight from your soul!

The gentle phrasing in each cycle, the rain-like patter of the little melodic crystals that glisten in the reverb, the tranquillity of your soul as it follows the yearning of music to play the next note, the next phrase you could have never known... Does this magic emanate from the handpan? Or does it tremble out of the surrender of heart that its sound inspires? I can never tell. I only know that when I listen to your pieces, each phrase feels like something I would have played... that I "am" playing as I listen. That begs the question, where is this music? Has it already announced itself from the far beyond? Or is it forming and unfurling inside me right now in a personal cosmic swirl? Much gratitude. Much love.
