I wish I watched this video before, I mistakenly connected my inverter wire directly to nepa light wire... immediately nepa brought light the inverter exploded

Great learning video. I ran into this video when learning how to install a manual transfer switch for my inverter but I don't see any AC breakers/SPD next to the manual changover. If there is a short circuit in that home, all your appliances would get fried. As long as you dont have any heavy loads, that single wire going in to the house looks like 4mm2 wire that can only handle 30amps max at 230v which is around 7000w.

Positive and negative in AC? It's called Hot / Line and Neutral, not positive and negative. Positive and negative only apply to DC. I am shocked that many people don't ground / earth their electricity in Nigeria. No wonder most appliances shock people easily.

He doesn't have a main breaker box. The grounding is usually done at the main breaker and should be connected to a ground rod.
