He was in his early twenties when he wrote these songs. You can hear his flaws, misconceptions, contradictions, naivety in all of them and they're mostly due to hardships he had to encounter and not to forget his youth! How many people can say they were this vocal and insightful at this age? We all make mistakes - not only while young. But him facing the challenges and pressure he did in his short life... they can at least explain his shortcomings and make his music no less profound.

Some of the lyrics were politically motivated and Jay was in early 20's when he wrote the album. Great reaction. Most people would just say, "Who's Huey," and leave it at that. You made an effort to find out. Tupac is deep, complex, and multi-dimensional. To fully understand and appreciate Tupac, you have to go beyond his music. Learn from documentaries, from his poetry, from interviews, and the Black Panthers. This song had Panther influence from top to bottom. Much respect TCB, for your open mind. Also, for recognizing that Tupac is something special, and next level.

I gotta admit, I laughed when I first saw your thumbnails of you reacting to 2Pac, and I apologize. You make great points and it’s refreshing to see you are a fan of his and other rap. I thought I was the only father who liked rap. You just gained a new subscriber. I enjoy your videos! Continued success!

I remember when that song came on TV for the first time on mtv.i was 8 and I know every word by heart. Came out after he died.he was major to me as a child because all of the older people admired him. So naturally I became obsessed with him music too.i like how you said it makes you angry.when you said that;I felt like as a black man I'm being seen and someone else feels my struggle..thank you for saying it makes you angry.that made my day sir.
