Жыл бұрынIn this week's episode, we lay down the finishing touches on Papa's 2002 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 Automatic by changing the rear and front differential fluid. We find a leak in the carb that also gets addressed.

Good video. I notice you have this on jack stands as opposed to just putting wheels on blocks. Do you need to have the weight off of the wheels to do this job??

We did most of it off camera because we've done other videos detailing how to rebuild a carburetor. We run them in an ultrasonic cleaner for about 20 minutes, then go through with air, carb cleaner, and small carburetor brushes to clean the passages, then replace the main and idle jets, all the gaskets, the float needle, and any diaphrams that might need replacing. Of course every carburetor is different, some might have a slide type throttle, while others might have a piston type, and there are butterfly throttles, as well. Best of luck! Thanks for watching!
