I will be changing a fuel pressure sensor on a GMC Acadia which is the same for a Buick Enclave and a Chevy Traverse

Thanks for making this video and showing the various steps you had to go through to get down to the fuel lines. Now I estimate my time to do this job will be much less than initially thought. I have a fuel injector that's acting up and I want to replace it or clean it. I'm estimating to get everything out would be an hour or less.

Had an issue with a 2011 gmc Acadia vehicle was having a hard time driving barely getting up to 20mph… followed your steps had it replaced and now it’s running great!! Although I still have issues with camshaft position sensors! At least it’s drivable again thanks for the video helped a lot!!

2012 Buick Enclave scan says 60% chance this part has failed, 30% high pressure fuel pump changing both . Thanks for showing were the part is located. Yes easy fix. Still benefitting DYI's.

What people aren't realizing with the traverses is there is also another pressure sensor it's located under the truck on the fuel line.. it's called fuel pressure sensor most people think it's just the real pressure sensor but a lot of times it's the pressure sensor itself which is under the vehicle if you lay on the ground and look in the Middle where the fuel line is you'll see it

You may also want to change the low pressure fuel sensor as well it's located under the vehicle it's very easy to get to

Use a chrome 27 socket a little thinner then that Matte version.

I changed it because I try keeping some of the things up to date and when you do a yearly or even a monthly maintenance on it then it would improve its performance.

Also try changing your purge valve and your lower fuel pressure sensor it's located under the vehicle very easy to get to

Remove the fuel pump relay , start the truck until it dies out . There you go, no pressure on your line

I have a 2015 gmc acadia and the codes shown are the p228c and p0300 i replace the fuel regulator but idk if i show change that fuel sensor It smells a lot of gas and i had reduced power engine

I have a Buick Enclave 2012 ; it has a long starting issue only when it gets warm. This might be the issue when I change my plugs and coils I will change this thing too

Del another guy had mentioned the same problem and his 2012 enclave was under warranty.. he had multiple trips to different dealers and then one concluded it was his injectors..they replaced all 6 and problem solved..I believe they did a pressure test to confirm the diagnosis.. Good luck

Im finding the part number for the two sensors are , one on pump is Standard Blue streak FPS33 , one under all the engine parts is Standard Blue Streak FPS3

cdmv87 I’m not sure. I bought mine at napa and i told them that I needed fuel pressure sensor. There rare 2 of them. One goes on the fuel pump. And other one on the injectors by the engine. I changed both of them

These 3.6l motors have electrical gremlins.

The one on the tank is fuel tank pressure sensor. It doesnt measure fuel pressure. Measures vacuum most of the time. There is another pressure sensor in low pressure 60 psi line below driver door its code is p018b. Then the one on the fuel rail is p0191. Measures around 2000psi

@@abrahamhernandez1913 mine was an open injector because of bad gas quality. It was always throwing gas to mix chamber making bad mix and the excess was going out of exhaust pipe. Solution was cleaning injectors and putting a new one and just using premium gas on any Brand.

Is all related but if you get a rich smell of gasoline through the exhaust pipe most of the time is the injectors. Another piece that I change was the O2 sensor down pipe from the back of the motor because that rich gas situation damage that sensor.

@@abrahamhernandez1913 I even have to change the motor oil because it get gasoline too, it was crazy. Most of the time if the problem is running are coils but it will tell you the misfire sparkplug. O2 sensor give a huge power back when I changed. That control the mix too.

The vent valve canister in this car is a nightmare too. Gotta take down the entire 24gl fuel tank down to get to it. Idiots in moTown

I’m having trouble with my Chevy traverse when I remove the gas cap to fill up it gives me problems to start the engine like if it lose pressure so I have to crank the engine and at the same time press the pedal in and out to start. But it’s only when I fill up with gas cause other than that it starts good. Any one know what can it be.

Mine was having the same issue and all I did was to replace the vapor canister purge valve like other say
