Thanks for the detailed information! What is the basic difference between semi furnished and furnished flat? As new in Australia, semi furnished flats are Ok to stay with family?

They are! If you damage some of the furniture, they might make you pay for repairs or you have to buy the damaged furniture off the owners.

@@ArjunShankar yes 450 AUD per month sounds very cheap for sydney. I also thought it was 450 per week. But if so then it so good sign for new immigrants.
