Where did you learn you stuff about motorbikes? Trying to what I can about them so I can look after my YBR the best way I can. I know how to do a simple service and have cleaned the chain myself aswell with no trouble but wanna learn more.

I was always into car videos like drifting and turbo builds etc so i got a lot of general engine knowledge there, then i did marine engineering at college. I then built a motorised pushbike with a kit from ebay, and I bought a childrens 50cc quad bike. I eventually blew them both up and rebuilt them both and ive been blowing my own bikes up and destroying them ever since 😂😂😂 All my thrashing around and breaking shit taught me a lot about repairs as I’ve always been to cheap to pay someone else

Also Ive owned big bikes etc but nothing beats a YBR on the fun scale

Glad to see people putting out easy to understand vids for the amateurs to learn from. Kudos to you, but during the video I could see the state of your chain. It's had a hard winter mate, so give it a treat and drench it in some chain and drive lube (£4 from Toolstation) and check your tension. Great work getting it looking shipshape buddy!

Sorry i took so long to reply! I really appreciate it, i want anyone to be able to work on there bikes. No fancy pants words etc, just do it sorta thing. I’ve learned the hard way so you guys dont have to haha

Hi Brad I’ve been invited to a private race where we have to have a stock looking ybr125 and do a 12hour endurance race called race to crimson and was wondering if u have any suggestions to improve performance without loosing reliability

My old/original exhaust gasket's jammed in place, is that normal? I've just been 're using it.. Reckon I should try knocking it out with a screw driver next time I have to take the exhaust off? Cheers

Yes mate would be a good idea to put a new one in. Not a big deal though, and if it seals and doesn’t leak/theres no black build up around it, then crack on and leave it! :)

@@LeFev3R Fair play mate its rapid haha. I owned it first and i fitted the 150 etc which youll see uploaded a few years back. I sold it to my mate before he wanted me to fix it

Hi I have an 08 YBR 125 custom, I can't find a custom exhaust so will buy a non-custom one.. But I dont know how different the bracket needs to be to fit onto custom? Should I buy a new one or can i get an adapter?

Hi! Both the YBR and YBR Custom exhausts are interchangeable and fit on both models, despite how different the bikes look :)

If you want to fit a non custom exhaust you will also need the rear footpeg/exhaust piece off the non custom to mount it to

@@SlightlyDazed. this is what i thought, the custom either needs the bit from the non-custom or to make a bespoke mounting adapter. You cant fit a standard exhaust onto a custom unfortunately
