Les Davies yes you are right , I stand corrected , I’d forgotten that! Although I mourn the passing of the Light Div band ( I played as a Royal Irish bugler with them many times) at least the green machine has been able to keep its identity 😊 Swift and Bold, Faugh a Ballagh

In the winter months they change to grey and in the other months they are in red uniform

Kim Dusselaar the rifles are in a super dark green, not red normally, but almost all others are in red

In summer months only the guards wear red tunics, guest regiments will their own number 1 dress uniform. In winter all branches of the army wear grey great coats with the exception of the life guard who wear red, blues and royals who wear blue and the Royal Marines who wear navy blue like the navy.
