Sounds reasonable to me. The Griso is a great bike. Just check the service history and if it is built before 2012, has the Tappet upgrade.

@@RoadsOfOz Looking at a 2016 or 2017 8V, if I'm not mistaken the tappet issue doesn't affect these years, right? There's a ''brand new'' 2017 a few hundred km from where I live, I should take a day off and go have a look at it...

Yes. The grease was added off camera. No thread locker required. Just used the correct torque setting.

Griso Guy Have 2(+) cameras, and one always in your off hand (or head/chest mounted) aiming at what you want in video and others placed where you might cross in front (or from above) but edit to the camera in hand at those times.... great vid otherwise, nobody is an expert on their first attempt at anything, keep going in that direction, you’re doing great! EDIT: also, in the video description, should put ALL pertinent info on bike (year, engine size, make, model) and parts being changed (old model of tire and new model if different, parts numbers, sizes, and links to where you purchased from, etc). I know you mentioned most of it, and discussed a LOT of great info, but a written description can be copied and pasted, and links for online serve same purpose for people following your video to do their own work. Again, GREAT VIDEO.... just a couple reminders...

Moto Guzzi used to sell them. Give your closest dealer a call. You never know what they have in stock. I found mine in my local classifieds.

Thanks. You used to be able to order it from a Moto Guzzi dealer. Not sure if they still sell them. But some dealership may have them in stock. Otherwise try EBay .

Pirelli Angel ST. 180/55/R17 from memory. Excellent tyres and very good value I might add. I have since replaced them with Pirelli Angel GT’s and will happily go back to the ST’s when these wear out.

Not yet. I have a mechanic service it when it reaches 10k intervals. He normally does it. But I might give it a go myself one day.

@@RoadsOfOz Thank you for your videos! I performed the changes in roughly 30 minutes, it's a tad bit more annoying than engine oil. I was also wondering, my griso is rather new - only 3k miles. When I went to move the rear wheel bolts, it's still stuck on. I removed the rear brake and the 4 bolts. Do you remember it being stubbornly stuck when you first did it? *Edit - the manual says to keep it in first gear to remove it. I can try that tomorrow.*

@@DaniWhiteMoto the wheel bolts are on tight. Even the torque spec is high (had to check it twice). Definitely need it in gear to remove them.

I know. Dumb right? I like to get the full milage out of my tyres, but definitely went too far!
