Small tip, but I would love to see them use some sort of filler wood that moves with the TV (like they do on the top of the TV) but at the bottom of the TV so that when the TV is in the up position, it would help keep things from falling down behind the fire place. Hope that makes sense. Loving these videos.

I have a suggestion to add to the medicine cabinet. I use an electric tooth brush. An electrical outlet inside the medicine cabinet would be so nice! This is a beautiful 5th wheel. Congratulations!!

This has to be the first toy hauler I’d even consider getting.I love the layout and looks of it.Most toy hauler’s are so boring ,cold looking,and empty.Great job putting this all together.👍👍

Congrats, you two! I feel like you're family since we started our 397 journey right after you did. Chad was always so helpful when I had questions! We used to say WWCD (What would Chad do?) Since the garage was our office too AND we had a bike (now two), I can really relate to the new improvements. I'm happily sitting here in my sticks n bricks, but full-time RV life and the people we met as a result will always have a special place in my heart. So glad I had that experience. Ride safe!

Your new rig is absolutely stunning - I love it so much! Because you had been living the life, your input and design ideas are absolutely genius. I had never considered a toy hauler before, but after seeing this model, I could be easily persuaded! Congratulations Chad and Tara - it is easy to see your pro experience of actually LIVING in a rig for an extended period of time resulted in so many beautiful ideas coming to fruition in the main build. I would be remiss, however, to not throw a bouquet to Tara for her exceptional design ideas. Not only do they each have specific purposes, i.e., the softer lighting to ease the eyes, the completed aesthetic is jaw dropping. Your instinct to add natural elements and colours was spot on. As they say in the Canadian military for a job exceptionally well done: BRAVO ZULU!!!

I don’t love the TV placement, but overall I do really love the new designs and floor plan that you guy’s came up with.:)) I absolutely love the lighter, brighter look too! My favorite colors to have around me are naturals, with greens or lavender accents, so I think that you did an amazing job accenting with the different lamps, the amber bottles, the green accents here and there. It really looks fantastic!! 👍

As an Aussie, I love that you called the toilet "The Loo" lol. Also, the personal touches really make this feel like a real home compared to all the other trailer tours I've been watching. This is easily my favourite. You've got excellent taste.

I really love that little dog and the steps the he carpeted just for the dog. I love it when the dog is family & people who really do things to make the pets life better. Very nice! I like the lighter color interior and Tara, you have a keen eye for decorating that makes it more homey. Enjoy your all’s videos very much. We have learned so much from Chad over the years with mechanics and technology. We love Grand Design. We are mainly week-end warriors (GD Imagine 2500rl) but you all help us in deciding possible destination spots and /or activities available to us when we travel. It amazes me to see ppl still cook bacon on a skillet/flat top. It's best baked. 400° for 10-20 min, depending on the thickness. My hubby flips them halfway, but I'll flip only if they're thick cut. A sheet pan with a wire rack is the best pan, and we'll foil the pan. Save the grease for southern cooking dinners and fried eggs. 😋

Chad & Tara, my husband and I love y’all and the RV is fabulous! We started with a 2022 Forest River Vibe-34BH and having that reinforced what we already knew. We love RV life. You both have taught us so much and shared great ideas. We just traded in for a 2023 Sierra Luxury 38FKOK. WOW, I get the 5th wheel difference. ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Chad, your comment about learning how to live or behave in it…soooo get it! Enjoy and keep making the videos!

Love The bigger bathroom. Much better space especially for a married couple. One thing I really like how it changes the look and feel of the whole space is the chaise lounge/sofa you have, much more residential looking and just makes the whole space look and feel more inviting. The bedroom is a great space too. Love the very accessible washer and dryer units. The under storage is great too along with the back up camera which I think is a must and the taut slide cover's as well. I wouldn't want the outside TV or audio system so I guess I'd gain a little storage but not much. I really like your new garage space and 1/2 bathroom. Very smart and much more like a extension of your living space. If I were the guest in there it would feel like I wad in My private room instead of just a bed inside a garage, much more welcoming space. Love that you are carpetless except the steps for your little fur family member, and you have washable throw rugs, I have now 5 small dog's and 4 cats so having a place more suited to them is very important to me and you did a wonderful job.

Chad & Tara; it's great you had input with the manufacture for layout of the RV to make it your home on wheels. I really like the light wall paint with the medium tone doors and trim. Of course the kitchen is a darker gray.

Thank ya'll for the tour. Looks like ya'll are getting well down the road of making this rig your home. It even looked like everything was Miss Daisy approved, the most important thing. So if we want a Grand Design trailer, we tell them right off that we get everything just the way we want it, or Chad will bring Tara back to handle it !!! Right ? LOL It's really nice that they give you some input on the design, that makes it yours and not quite like anyone else's rig. Have to say, everything really looks nice, looks like ya'll will be / are happy in there. Now you just need to hit the road and show the world . God bless ya'll and stay safe on your travels.

So happy for you two! Also happy you choose EAST TN for your home base. We have been here for now 21 years. (Never another move! As a Navy wife & Navy daughter, I have moved 17 times! I’m done!!) Now where the TV came up, the ledge on the right sure looked like grease.. not sure I (who cooks a lot on our rig) would want the TV there. Tara, I’m so glad you have helped the manufacturers to fully understand how women use their rig!!! Hope to see you two at Fiesta!

Love the new home. From one of your recent videos Chad mentioned remotes for the boobie lights, we bought a couple and they are great and so easy to install. One of the ones we got has 2 remotes, one is a peel and stick and the other is a key chain. That one is great for the ceiling light that is right at the door. We can turn it on from outside as we are walking up to the RV. Thanks for the tip and good luck with your new home!

OK Chad, I figured out to become a upgraded support to you and Tara and my special friend Daisy, on this You Tube thing yo all do! Looks like you've made it your home. I love your special touches - it's very cozy and inviting. I agree with you, Tara, about that deep cabinet in the bathroom and actually emailed you with a solution early on in your building process. I suggested that in your bedroom, back near the corner, there should be a tall closet ( for more hanging space, shelves for clothes, brooms closet. etc.). That way the shelves in the bathroom won't be so deep, and that can be full length storage as well. Love your channel, and I learn a lot. I've already made some of your suggested upgrades to our new 391DL.

We considered that, but didn't want that whole wall to have the dark colors. But, I think they are considering a more natural wood color in place of the dark grey and that might be better for cabinet doors there.. 👍🏼

Congrats to the two of you,it's beautiful for sure. Ive been traveling out west for almost a month now. Staying in some state and some private parks. Non of them would be able to accommodate that big of a rig. I think I would invest in a Simi tractor to pull that kind of weight. Happy travels and be safe!!!

Wonderful! We are not full time, but I have divided my clothes and shoes to travel and home. Added a blow dryer for rv. That way I don’t have to load and unload every time. We travel enough, that we can leave can goods in pantry. Only unloading refrigerator and food items that would draw critters or spoil.

My husband and I will be hitting the road in about 7 years when I retire from 30 years of teaching. We ride too so a toy hauler is a must. We are keeping our house as a home base as we will be close to paying it off at that time. We will be shopping for this exact or similar model at that time. We are planning to buy one used. We love all the changes you made and how this seems designed for a couple without kids.

Holy crap that's a lot of trailer! That'd take some practice pulling. I'd consider a big Kenworth tractor or something as a rig to go with, a few more gears and weight for stopping the beast! I'm gearing up to practice a ton, stepping up my camping to a 40' diesel pusher. Been some time since I drove anything so big. I plan on a bunch of short local trips just to practice. Good time to live in BumF*** nowhere! No traffic to deal with, and lots of paved side roads. Will keep an eye out for you guys out there.

Also how long it can run your systems including AC's. Laughed like crazy when Chad talked about the font. I feel your pain although I am a couple decades older I am still doing okay with most fonts. Love when I go to a restaurant and see someone else using the flashlight on their phone to read the menu. Funny how our bodies change over time. Why the heck to I have all these new places hair grows.😀

It would be great if GD would give folks the same option regarding the flooring & side paneling in the garage. We would def spring for it! But I totally get it if that's just a perk they extended to you guys! So awesome to see you guys making it your own! Gets me fired up knowing it won't be too much longer!

@@ChangingLanes Not sure about deleting the rubber diamond plate floor. I saw your video when first putting the bike in and out and almost lost it. I rather have the traction. On a side question, your 4 piece doors. I have yet to hear anything good about them. I've seen and heard more issues about them coming off the tracks and not sliding well after time. Are these different than your last doors or you just dont wanna complain?
