Promising to be a force for good and to restore trust in politics - Sir Keir Starmer has hit the ground running on his first day in office naming his new Cabinet - and declaring that the work of change would begin immediately.
(Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
With just one seat left to declare, Labour can boast a majority of 176 MPs. While the Conservatives are down to a third of their previous total. It was a record night for the Liberal Democrats, as they become the third largest party in Westminster. While the SNP suffered huge losses.

yep first past the post only favours the top two parties everyone else is almost wasting time, we need real change on how we vote in the UK as its a bit a scam system forcing mostly a two party state, but for 40 years both labour and conservitive have do very little to benifit most people and just spend a lot of time blaming past governments as to why they could do half the stuff they promised.

It’s how the voting system works. Each person is not voting together for the government. Each persons vote is counted equally… for the constitutional seat they are voting for. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Is it broken? Yes. But not because votes are not counted equally. It’s broken because the FPTP electoral system is fundamentally flawed. It needs to change. It never will.

@@jontalbot1yes but it only gets a clear cut result for one of the parties that have had power for the last 100 years or more. Cutting! Not necessarily the lowest form of wit. Now I think it will be increasingly deployed and appreciated due to its ambiguity (a good defence against accusations of 'hate') and because its true meaning will be dependent on the mental acuity of the listener/watcher/ reader. And that pretty much rules out the cult followers of the left, the religion of peace, the libtards and the sheeple..

Hope he has managed to sort out his cervix problem. As for Starmergeddon's wrecking crew aka his 'cabinet' - well, it is full of wooden politicians. I give it till Christmas for the regret and customer dissatisfaction to set in. And I don't just mean the 5% of the population who voted Labour because they actually agreed with their policies ( amazingly, as the Toolmaker's son kept them very vague and obscured during the 'campaign'. Internal unrest - within weeks, guaranteed - the left is always eating itself. Donor dissatisfaction - especially the big corporations - Sir Davos won't be able to please them all and the banks, with the perilous financial chasm opening up ahead. Ideological infighting - square the gender, identity, alphabet folk demands with those of the religiin of peace. Good luck with that. Sir Davos is in hock to so many competing interests, it will tear his tiny mandate apart in months. It would be entertaining if it were not so tragic and destructive to this country. But the only way out is through. Watch as the cracks appear.
