I grew up with 3 family members mom dad and stepdad and none were my bio parents so I get why they want a huge family but weren’t;t they adopted into families? Like just cause they were adopted doesn’t mean they had no family. I was adopted by my bio grandpa and step grandma and they divorced and she found another he passed away while I was pregnant with my first. Even if it’s small it’s still a family. Did they live in orphanages or did they have adoptive families? If they did then they didn’t grow up alone what so ever. I mean blood isn;t everything sometimes friends become the family you need when your own blood is terrible.

@Benny Hill actually not true, I've seen other episodes and they are clear they do not. I'm actually impressed they also managed to go on vacation because that was one of the luxuries they didn't allow themselves to have due to cost. Soo a little research before blatant ignorance. I do believe the older children have to work in the bakery though... but plenty of families with businesses have their kids work for them

Got tears in my eyes during the episode where Chloe went off to university. My own father couldn't get rid of me fast enough when it came time for me to move out, in fact, he left a note on my bedroom door giving me the date and time that I had to be out and immediately took me off of his health insurance. No tears were shed. Amazing how childhood trauma never really leaves a person.😭

It hurts some people too much. Usually in time people will give the true number followed by how, when, and why they lost a child. This can make people uncomfortable. I always say 3 even though I lost my first son to SIDS at 5 months 23 days old. It will always hurt but it hurts more when people have weird expectations on your grief schedule.

He was perfectly healthy in 99th percentile for height and weight. No allergies, reflux or anything. He could roll from front to back and back to front. He stopped breathing in his sleep. They must be great money managers...all those mouths to feed yet can still give the family holidays and lots of pressies. I love how they really know each child and take time to buy them what they really like. The kids are all lovely and respectful human beings too. They really do a fabulous job together raising kids.....and still have a sense of humour.

Such a beautiful beautiful family, so blessed. 🥰 I have so much admiration for you. I love how both parents absolutely understand how to parent and not neglect any of them and you didn't overwhelm the older kids with responsibility. I come from a large family but I was overwhelmed by too much responsibility at a young age. It did affect me but I love my mother regardless. I don't blame her like I did when I was younger. I wanted a mum just like this one! I wanted a dad but there was just mum and 6 children. I don't blame mum anymore as I'm older now and I know she did the best she could. This family is an inspiration. So united and loving.

They are a loving family for sure. But so many kids put a lot of the responsibility of taking care of them on the oldest girls. That is not fair. The Dad is never going to be able to retire. I am amazed that it all runs so smoothly. You guys are doing a wonderful job, but enough already.

I have often wondered if Sue's pregnancies are classified as high risk. I know that she looks like she is in phenomenal health, but I would think that just based on the number of pregnancies she's had but I don't recall anything ever being said about it during the shows.

I’ve spoken to a couple of families from Morecambe and they say that this family in general are not liked by the locals due to boasting about not claiming benefits. There’s a lot of poverty in that area and whilst I couldn’t care if someone has more than me,a lot of people will.
