What people fail to realize is that these entities have BRAINS!!! They have very definite personalities, likes and dislikes. They also have strong opinions!!! You'd better make sure the entity who'm you are invoking agrees with your MOTIVES !!! Otherwise things could go very very BADLY for you !!! This is ESPECIALLY true with Lilith!!!

Thank you for this info. She came to me to fight against oppression. And really help me get through abuse that I experienced in my life. And I was left in the world by myself & discarded when i became an adult... I'm not going to get too deep into it but I really went through a tremendous amount of abuse since I was a kid. She has empowered me so much... and I see the what u are saying and it never really resonated with me. I stand a lone like I have been. Lilith helped me reclaim my power within the injustices I encountered since childhood. I always check in with Lilith before I do Magick attached to her name. I read into it and meditate with her. People have exploited her name and I don't like it.

Within the last year I've had Lilith on my mind. I'm not sure why, or how. But lately I feel like she's there and always has been there. I'm not sure if I'm a child of Lilith, I'm probably not, but I feel a great connection with this great spirit. Looking back on my life, I think she's been there for a while. I wish I could find the answers.

I am so glad that you focused on liberation, anti oppression, and anti hierarchy. My years of work with Lilith has culminated into understanding the importance of liberation politics within occultism and spirituality. What is the point of either of those things if it is not taking a stand in protecting those most vulnerable in our global society? It is so important to maintain an honest, active education about the happenings of the world. I don’t think humanity has a future without the unification of activism and magick. It is the only way the people can gain any significant modicum of power under an authoritarian regime that is only increasing in its fascism. If more occultists and spiritualists dedicated themselves to the duty of this worldly education in service of their fellow man, we would truly be unstoppable. Especially with Lilith as our guide. Occult socialism is truly the only way humanity can not only survive but finally thrive.

to know lilith is something that is personal, and very much a solo journey. A lot of people were intent on telling me who lilith should be for me. But you cant know lilith through others., and trying to know lilith through reading a book about her is like looking at the outside of a house and wanting to enter. Helpul, but not the same thing. i agree lilith isnt something to command not at peoples beck and call. For me she came to me unexpectadly, as in felt like she just showed up and adopted me. She has helped me embrace more of my personal power, shame, and the parts of me i have rejected, and taught me to assert my boundaries, and embrace my sexuality. And to embrace the parts of me that were marganilzed and often excluded. She has also taught me to be fierce whrn needed. If at all she has been a deep moving gnosis in my life. For me lilith is a teacher, and a friend, not something i demand things from.. one of my latest conversations with lilith, was where she said, ' we are for those in equality, for those who bow to we as themselves.' i do personally have an altar to lilith, but for me its about honoring, rather than worship. And when i honor lilith i am also honoring those aspects in myself with gratitude.

I was connecting with her this past weekend and one thing i heard was that she doesnt like the term worship. that it suggests she is up on this high pedestal but really she is “on the ground running always.”

It saddens me that anyone would see her as a demon or baby eater, especially women who are often demonized for standing up for themselves or going against the system in some way. If you adhere to the villainous story of her, you perpetuate the very system she rejects.

I'm working with Lilith for a couple of weeks now. This year I started a really hard and introspective shadow-work and she instantly showed up. I immediately felt like a big sister energy. I'm the eldest sibling and I always provided tools and support to my sister, and that's what I felt with Lilith. I understand the biggest tribute I can give her is keeping this hard path, no matter how difficult or painful it is and liberate myself from things that no longer serve me. Be able to be strong and help other women in the future. Be courageous enough to choose this path of self-discover and finally evolve. One of the things she told me is "Don't be afraid. You are afraid of the same things that are hidden inside of you. So enlighten them and don't be afraid, cause they're part of you"

Lilith to me stands for liberation. Liberation and freedom. She adopted me, I was exiled. She came to me as my mother and held out her hand, in my pain I took it and I am willing to follow her to see what can be exposed to me about myself and others that I can heal and transform ❤ into my highest truest self.
