Stan and Kyle are super similar on the surface but I find that Stan is more of the normal “dude” persona while Kyle seems to have a softer side and ends up getting involved in situations because of it like when he falls for Cartman’s ex gf or when he helps mr. hankey. I mean there’s other instances of this behavior but Just as an example.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone went to the Academy Awards in 2000 wearing low cut gowns and tripping on acid, whenever they were asked what they were doing, the pair would respond along the lines of "oh it’s such a magical night, you can really feel the magic in the air." Unfortunately after the acid wore off they were stuck sitting through the Academy Awards.

Another fact, the Japanese voice actor for Kyle is Kappei Yamaguchi, the voice of Inuyasha. He also is the Japanese voice for Bugs Bunny. Also, Cartman is played by a girl in Japan.

South Park actually has a great message below the surface.. they don’t spare anyone from being criticized so everyone can understand their flaws and they don’t just bully people for no reason. The episode about Tourette’s being praised by medical professionals for actually conveying factual info about Tourette’s and not just being ableist is an example of that. Same with the Craig and tweek episode not just being homophobic to be funny. Also when an Asian language is being spoken it’s never gibberish, they actually speak a language even if it’s a Japanese person speaking korean lol that’s just satire to make fun of racists

Isaac Hayes did not ask to be let go from the show because they mocked his religion. He was forced by the Church of Scientology to leave the show. He was reportedly in tears when he told Trey and Matt that he was being forced to leave the show.

Nothing really, you love the show and what they did. Of course NOW, you would be against it since you're a fan of all the episodes and moments and memories, so you'll tend to reject any changes to it. However, if back in the days they decided to do so, we would all get accustomed to it. I do miss Chef and doubted the show would be the same. However Chef was really unique, and despite that, I do still enjoy the show (except the last 3 seasons were meh). Kyle however is not as unique but now, after 23 seasons, it won't 'feel like South Park' if I don't see him in the show.

The guy who voice acted chef, well he _didn't chose to quit._ His son actually has gone on record to say that Scientology FORCED him to quit, and that the church removed Chef from south park when he was unable to speak for himself. Issac Hayes son has publicly said that it wasnt his dad that quit south park. Issac Hayes was already way to sick and bedridden when South Park recieved his intent to quit. He says the church sent it. Issac died shortly after. The son says his dad didnt get upset about thr content of South Park.

Isaac Hayes was born in my county, Tipton County, Tennessee and we visit his grave in East Memphis south of Tipton County every year on his birthday. Every time we go up there, we leave a paper cutout of Chef hidden within a bouquet of flowers.
