When Ysis went for a scan at 36 weeks pregnant, she was told her baby was measuring small and she needed to be induced.
Follow Ysis at 37 weeks pregnant as she arrives at hospital for a planned induction, which failed to go to plan when she was told there were no hospital beds!
At first doctors tried to send Ysis home and it was touch and go whether or not she'd be induced, but after waiting around not sure what was happening, she was finally admitted and things started moving.

I'm being induced at 37 weeks in just under 2 weeks because I've developed obstetric cholestasis. This is my first baby. I wanted to see video of another woman in the UK induced this early. Congratulations!

@@sisih1312 hi, sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification for this until someone liked it just now. :/ I suspect your baby is here now? I hope all went well for you. Me and baby are fine. He has a few struggles but thankfully health visitor and doctor are treating him as premature since he has all the same issues they do and looks prem too. Induction was very difficult and the process itself was very emotionally difficult for my husband and I, but luckily we had an excellent team of midwives and obstetricians to see us through. I was able to have a spontaneous birth, which I was so so happy about. And that went well and I needed no intervention. I was concerned I would need a section or intervention as induction dramatically increases the chances of that. I hope that, despite induction, you were able to have the birth you wanted and were also given support from your midwives and obstetricians. ❤️

Such a touching video, glad all went well! I had a 3 day labour, however got to the hospital at 10cm, waters all over the waiting room and gave birth in under 30mins so a slow start but very quick towards the end! Just amazing and I can't wait to do it again in a couple years xx

Been from my appointment and was told I will also be induced at 37 weeks which is 4 weeks from today. My waters broke early, 2 weeks ago and gladly baby is holding on inside me, although I'm really anxious, paranoid and stressed as we're both at risk for infection. Thank you for this video, made me feel better and excited really.

What a beautiful little baby! I was induced too and remember times it was very frustrating when the hospital told you something but a few hours later that had changed & you were told something else.. But in the end once your beautiful bundle is here you forget all about it.

I’m having my INDUCTION today at 10:pm Extremely nervous and excited at the same time.!! I’m having problems with my sugar levels are too high.. I’m taking insulin’s 💉 and things are not going well.. all I want is a healthy baby 👶🏻❤️.!!

Congrats again Ysis, what a beautiful baby. Well done for coping so well with all of the changes - birth can be a very stressful time and I think you did a brilliant job. We all enjoyed following your FB updates and I'm sure you will agree it was worth all of your hard work now your baby is here safely. HI Ysis. I've just watched your with story and wanted to say how fabulous and brave I think you are!!! IM sue in 7 weeks (7 WEEKS!! EEK! And ill be blogging it too) and am starting to get VERY NERVOUS but have found watching some other peoples birth series strangely comforting. Thank you! x

I just found out a few days ago baby boys umbilical cord isnt working proper so I have to be induced on Saturday and my baby is small my anxiety levels are so so high I'm so scared i just pray everything goes okay and baby boy is healthy and I'm okay

She is so beautiful, congratulations Ysis, I adore her babygrow! My labour with P was pretty fast, I was fully dilated when I got to hosp, and she was born within an hour! I think when I have a second il have a home birth. I wish I filmed my labour with P, as now it's just hazy memories, which really upsets me! 😢 xxx

thank you so much for sharing Ysis! my story is very similar to yours. my daughter was past due 40 weeks so I was sent to be induced by my doctor. I was sent the Tuesday morning but it was crazy busy apparently and they didn't have enough staff either. I booked a room so I at least had that but they didn't send me home so I had to stay the night...by my self! cuz my boyfriend wasn't allowed to stay with me sept during visiting hours! crazy... and was induced the Wednesday and it was pretty quick... I was given the pill after twelve and my lil one came after three.

I am in the same position . I'm a mum of a 3 year old little boy. Today found out that my second baby hasn't grown much since the previous scan and I will be monitored daily until this Saturday with an induction booked for Saturday. How much did baby Isabella weigh at birth ?

Aw I love a birth story!! Crazy that there can be no beds, I hate that! What a beautiful baby though :) how incredible. I was induced with a pessary too, 40 minute labour, forceps with no pain relief, hour and a half of stitches and a year of physio on the ol' pelvic floor 😂😂 absolutely loved it though, so empowering!

I honestly cannot love his more! I desp want D&M to want a sibling but more so, so I could do a live birth. Hahaha. But it'd have to be a c section post repair op. 😕
