I grow bamboo, including Giant Japanese Timber Bamboo, in Austin, Texas! So far with friends we have built arbors, trellises. This is inspiring, to see major tall buildings framed 100% in bamboo. Thank you.

Hold on, I live in a house in Java that has naturally treated bamboo that is still strong after several decades. I think it's a bit arrogant to say that it wasn't possible before. Indonesians have been using bamboo for generations.

I have found this extraordinary, and evocative video, uplifting and Thankyou. I watched the Green school video with pleasure. I need to visit when next in Bali, currently l live in an arid part of Issan Thailand, with little to no surface water. Such a shame.

Bamboo sequester a lot of carbon, and actually it is fine. The problem is the worm, how to cure and to dry bamboo.

It takes time before bamboo grow. People dont even replace them anymore just seen as weed. Why not cut down all trees and make profit out of it then plant again?
