Vedic tradition never demanded that their students should blindly believe or "swallow" anything -- “ IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT , LUMP IT “ TYPE DOGMA. THEY ARE ASKED TO APPLY THEIR CONSCIENCE . No guru wants his students to believe; he wanted his students to understand and agree .
