Love your videos! I just recently found your channel while searching for more information about wakesurfing. I just got an Axis T22 last year and have learned more about how to properly configure it than I learned all last year going out with the salesman twice and learning by trial and error throughout the summer. I'm really looking forward to getting out this summer and putting to use all the info I'm learning from your videos. I learned I was really not properly using the Power Wedge to configure the wave, so I'm really hoping the increased knowledge is going to make a huge difference this coming summer!

great video, I saw this and several others at the seattle boat show this year. I know most of what you showed in this vid are the batteries and the windscreen stow. But if you needed to service the engine is the access available to the user or is it a dedicated mechanic and tools to get to it. Ty for your time Chantel!!

Hi Mike! The warming tray comes out so you can see down into the engine compartment from the top. The side panels next to the engine are easily removed (no tools required) so you have access at the sides. You can also remove the trays that are under the transom flip up seats to get access at the back. There's a small removable panel just above the V Drive as well. Easy access from all sides.

How well does that Tundra tow the 25 LSV? Roughly what's the "wet" weight of the boat on trailer? Thanks

I have the 5.7L engine and it does pretty well! Pulls the boat out of the water easily when in 4-wheel drive, even on a steep ramp. Sucks gas on a long trip, but doesn't really struggle too much. I would say it weighs close to 9,000lbs w/ gas and gear in it. A triple axle trailer would add about 400lbs more.

Chantel Herbert thanks for the reply. I’m currently towing an older 23 LSV with the same truck. Was wondering if truck was a limiting factor on stepping up to a bigger boat. Sounds like it won’t really be a problem.

The real problem with wake boats is unless grandpa can drop $100,000 plus very few kids get to ride on these giant boats. I’ve got an 04 wakestter loaded and can have just as much fun without worrying about any damage. I paid 24k my third boat.

I’ve also got a few rides behind a bone stalk 2018 wakesetter. The fabrics on the seats were nice. The owners had no idea how to use the ballast and audio system. The wave with full ballast and wedge was weak. The kids and family liked it as they are very wealthy and have no boating experience. I’m glad I have a spot on their dock for my boat as I’ve got it dialed with my old 04. 25k vs 125k. Not with it. This boat in the video isn’t stalk.

@@yotaismygame still not sure what you mean? I’m very experienced on boats ranging from the late 90s to the early 2000s. I’ve had a couple rides on these late 2010s boats. My point is they are over priced and not worth the money compared to a well set up early 2000s boat. I’ve thrown tantrums behind a 98 direct drive Sanger. Wakeboard boats are so overpriced. I see it all the time. New truck and boat with no idea what they’re doing. I know it must be hard to make enough money to afford a new boat and still have time to use it.
