@@jamesfranko1568 It's all about the weight. Katie faught at lightweight 99%+ of her boxing career both pro and am. She was carry a lot of weight around the neck area. She didn't have the power of CC either at the weight. Naturally all boxers get slower with age, Katie needs to adjust her style for that, and she no problem fighting 10x2 rounds against anyone in the world fitness wise. Katie still has CC2 and AS2 to come and will be much better back at lightweight. From winning Amateur World Gold in China 2007 to being 1st woman to box on Irish tv on Bernard Dunne undercard against Carrie Barry US, to boxing in a demo in front of the Olympic Comittee to have boxing included in London 2012, then to win Olympic Gold in 2012 along with multiple World/European amateur titles. Katies won all there is in boxing, and pioneered the way for womens boxing to come as far as it has. Katie so much deserves her retirement when it comes for dedicating her life to boxing both inside and outside the ring to win equality. She's a national hero to Ireland, she's our Ali. And her next fight deserves Croke Park and a 'Scrap in the Cap'. She's the Uncrowned Queen of the Emerald Isle, and we love her. There should be a Movie about her, she our Irish Rocky. KT is Simply the Best 💯🥊🇮🇪

Katie’s finishes by KO total just under half Shields’ fights in total. Katie’s whole pro career has been out of her prime where Shields’ has been right in the middle of it. LW is stacked compared to the three divisions Shields won in, like the difference between women’s 145 in the UFC compared to the smaller divisions. And Katie has the better amateur record too. Before we go calling GWOAT, let’s see how Shields does when her prime starts to slip, or if she can go another ten fights and/or eight years without taking a L.
