So a whole stick of butter with some sugar to boil some soggy mushrooms 🤣 Just pan fry them with some heavy cream and herbs instead of wasting the flavor and ingredients...

Those mushrooms become infused with the brown Sugar, sherry, garlic butter mixture. You can then repurpose the liquid for a second sauce, like addinng cream and putting It on pork chops or tossing It with pasta. I am sure that a forager like her Is not letting anything go to waste.

They weren’t soggy and I have a video on a light pasta with chanterelles. I wanted the cooking sherry flavor with these. It was tasty.

@@user-dl1yc8cb4l Using so much butter is already a waste. You are not really developing the flavor of these mushrooms. You literally can do the same thing by pan frying them with butter and garlic. Adding a little bit of sugar for caramelization and then adding same cooking wine. Almost the same thing she did in a video she is mentioning here. It's just bizarre how one video shows solid cooking and another one boils mushrooms in butter... You can naturally repurpose the leftover liquid butter she had or you could just cook it properly and get better results then use good butter for something else later.
