I dont think I've ever seen such a powerful voice with such perfect tonality, style, ane range as the second soloist. What a mindblowing entrance to his solo as well - so commanding! (First soloist was just as amazing!!!)

I’ll never forget singing with Cortez in Detroit many years ago with the Brazeal Dennard Chorale. Such a gentleman and so sweet! Always full of compliments! I miss him so much and I’m so proud! ♥️🙏🏾🤗

I wonder who can put a dislike to this video! Amazing singing, from the lowest voice to the highest voice. Great job guys, you are an inspiration and you give me a goosebumps every time I listen to your songs!

I remember back in the early 2000s you guys visited my school in Kaua'i, Hawai'i. The group has changed since then, all I recognize is the Bass singer. Beautiful medley. Makes me miss my choir singing days.

I saw Chanticleer perform at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco in December 2019. The whole performance was absolutely spectacular (even the obiglatory coughs from the audience ceased after a few minutes of them singing), but it was Cortez's rendition of Mary Had a Baby that finally turned on the water works for me (I wish I could buy this somewhere because it is so BEAUTIFUL!). I can't wait to see them again when they are back in the Bay Area. You guys are awesome and beyond talented!

It was in the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Krakow, Poland, that I've heard Chanticleer for the first time. We were waiting more than 1 hour in the long, long line, right next to us was Prof. Norman Davies, historian, with some others. It was worth every minute of waiting though.
