There was chaos today on Venice Beach because of one of the best former Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho came to visit do youth soccer players from Venice Beach a huge crowd, gathered around him and tried to take pictures of him

I'm with you GIV, I get how some people can be really excited for a sports player, but when the effort by the community is there and kids wait all that time, I think he's a jerk for not speaking or signing some stuff. It was a big crowd but not huge and a line could have been made for him to walk along and do some autographs. It looked like a Nike promotion to me. He got big pay from Nike and did nothing for his fans.

Mike, you darn near made me spit out my lemonade when you said, "putting the bikini over the shirt, that's new." I had to laugh, because I've never seen anyone dress like that before. You always know when to catch a person off guard, and say something funny. A day without a GIV video, is a like day without sunshine. They don't really "worship" sports. Most of the people in this video grew up watching Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Carlos, Rivaldo etc. and admired how they played soccer. It takes a certain talent, and skill, to play soccer the way those soccer legends did.

"El Magico" #11 from El Salvador was better than all these combined. Even Maradona use to say that he admired him and he looked up to him. Unfortunately El Magico followed a dark lifestyle like a lot of Salvadorian's and never was able to redeem himself from it. And lost everything to it. Always fun seeing what you're up to, Mike. I see this event as a potential lesson to kids and adults alike, as to how meaningless "professional" sports is, and how empty it is to put a higher value on one person just because he has skill at a sport or is claimed as a "celebrity" by those who profit from marketing his image. We have no idea what such people are like as human beings. We only see the expensive PR that's thrown at us. Luckily, I saw it as a waste of time when I was in high school So many people adored the sports jocks, who wouldn't give them the time of day if they met you in the hallway. Even so, I enjoy the Gemuetlichkeit every time you post a video. TschueB!

2006 Germany hosted the World Cup , I have the shirt , it was a good shirt for Germany .Ronaldinho is a really down to earth player and awesome with the kids , he loves them and has done a lot for the impoverished children .
