@@GoldenArbiter01 I know a simple way to do it Just flip the provinces and height map upside down, and as a bonus invert the colors on the height map as well so that high mountains are ocean and the netherlands are now the tallest thing ever

6:16 So my strategy for Nationalist Spain (All 3 paths) is to try and take Eastern Aragon and Barcelona. This makes it so that the Anarchists rise up in the Middle (Ideally) of Republican Spain causing them to have to shift their lines. First action I do which you did well was consolidating the north then moving your units southwards. For the Falange I recommend doing the crackdown when your in southern Spain (I.e when you are able to control more land therefore not worrying about what happened in your run). Also use naval invasions to help, typically Republican Spain doesn't use coast guards. I used all of this and was able to secure a Falangist victory mid 1937. I hope this helps and if anyone has any questions please ask.

The reason why primo di rivera has the modifier sins of the father is because his dad, also named primo di riveria was a military dictator during the inter war period, btween ww1 and ww2. He was a pretty bad leader

Miguel Primo di Rivera wasn't so bad of a leader compared to the chaotic periods before (the Tragic Week and the disaster of first stage of the Rif War) and after (the whole mess of the Second Republic) his de facto regency. He wasn't good but he was somewhat average and at least tried to fix couple of things in the wreck called 20th century Spain but ultimately failed to do so. The trait "Sins of the father" is actually referencing the fact that Jose Antonio first entered the politics (he was 27 years old I think) as the attempt to defend his father's legacy from the republican critique and slander.

Normally you capitulate the main Spain before you fight the carlist, then you can finish the civil war very early. This works because the carlist don't actually get stronger if you wait, you can also just let them rise up on their own (they do that after like 240 days or something like that) and then bypass the focus. Great Video btw 👍

You know it's a fun day when you see a new Florius video. Also I don't know how feasible this is now but I remember when I used to play Spain I'd do this little trick where you secure Catalonia (and if possible Eastern Aragon) as the Nationalists which then forces the Anarchists to spawn in basically the middle of Spain, weakening the Republicans more and just giving you a smaller frontline.

sadly dont know if you can skip the carlists in this path, but it the right side path of the nationalist front you can optimize by claiming madrid and the state south west of madrid, and rush down the focuses, leading to a fast win that doesnt let the carlists win
