As the heat of a late summer sky quickly melts away the morning, it’s another day on the job at the Plane State Jail in Dayton. But just as true as the sky is blue, padlocks and razor wire make it clear, this is not just any day, and certainly not just any job.

I've heard this lady is not all that she portrays on the outside. There is evil in this system and this particular jail is one of the worst.

Yes, my friend has been in maybe 5 different prisons there and she said the same thing. The heat is awful.

Oh they love it there. Yes they do. Good ole plane state food. Pancakes n peanut butter. The lady's love. They like the tuna whip they get also one girl tells me. Good gals.

It was the first place i qent to wen i got locked it yes it was bad but not as bad as people say yes its hot af especially in the summer most people dont stay there its also for just state jail moslty for them but people on the tdcj side gets transfer to another unit i was there in 2008 i was there just a lil while before i went to hilltop then murry prison is not goin to be how u like it they dont want u to come back but they do get money for more ppl gettin locked up Anyhow its not a great prison but for ppl.on tdcj they know they will be leavin soon Also prego women there they look at it as u got yur self in here while your prego they dnt care but at the same time they said the child didnt ask to be here they will help u but not as much as u will need

The girl I write to started out there and said of all the prions she has been in it's the worst. She just got transferred to Murray. I guess that is really bad too.

Yes, those prisons down there are strict as hell. Makes her crazy dealing with it day in day out.

Wow, that is a long time, sorry. After a while she said you just start doing things automatically. Hasn't said much about Murary so far other than she hates it. They seem to move you around a lot. So many prison there.

Tony Finn I just got out of prison... and of all the units I was at... plane state was the worste of them... its dirty.. no a.c. for us in the dorms.... please... put money on ur wifes books so she can live as comfortably as possible. there is no other happiness there.. officers are mean... conditions are horrible

Omg it's like Hell in there...food is horrible..it's hot asf..You get wrote up for EVERYTHING..Worms in the shower..Maybe one toilet works in different pods

Also let me add this..When it's time for lockdown you can't shower only every 3 days and some officer's will deny you from it..On lockdown they feed folks P&B and Jelly sandwiches on old bread with mold on it and some other kind of me that looks like cat food!!

My girlfriend Angel just got moved there 11-19-2018 I'm scared for her I love this woman I hope she comes home safe wow March seems so far away
