Chaplet of St Michael recital in Latin, with text on screen for all to follow.
The Chaplet of St Michael features nine sets of repetitious prayers of one Our Father and Three Hail Marys, each set led by a request of intercession to each of the Nine Choirs of Angels:
Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels, Angels.
While not actually a part of the Chaplet, I generally commence the chaplet with the Prayer to St Michael the Archangel. The Chaplet commences with the Act of Contrition, and then proceeds to the introduction prior to the recital of the nine sets. After the nine sets are concluding prayers, led by an Our Father each to Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and your Guardian Angel, then the concluding prayers, before I recite the Litany to St Michael, which again is not actually part of the Chaplet, just an extra devotion I add.
Vaxfacts: The Chaplet of Saint Michael the Archangel, also called the Rosary of the Angels is a chaplet resulting from a reported private revelation by the Archangel Michael to the Portuguese Carmelite nun Antónia de Astónaco. It was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851.
Praying the chaplet is said to provide the assistance from Saint Michael the Archangel and the company of one angel from each of the nine celestial choirs when approaching Holy Communion. In addition, for those who would recite the Chaplet daily, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life. Praying the chaplet is also believed gradually to defeat demons and grant a Pure Heart thus delivering from Purgatory. These blessings extend to the direct family.
Pope Pius IX granted the following Indulgences to those who pray the chaplet:
Some of the Indulgences:
Partial indulgence, to those who pray this Chaplet with a contrite heart.
Partial indulgence, each day to those who carry the Chaplet with them and/or kiss the medal of the Holy Angels that hangs from it.
Full indulgence, to those who pray it once a month, the day they choose, truly contrite and confessed, praying for the intentions of their Holiness.
Full indulgence, with the same conditions, in the feasts of the Apparition of St Michael the Archangel (May 8); the feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Rafael (September 29); and on the day of the Holy Guardian Angels (October 2).

For all that say it is too fast, KZfaq allows you to slow down the speed of videos. If you are on your mobile phone to to the right upper corner, there are three vertical dots, click there to adjust the playback speed. Change it to 0.75 or 0.5 depending on what you like. Hope this helps.

Everyone seems to think I recited this too fast. I slowed it down for this recording! I generally recite at 1.25 times faster than this! You can slow the video down if you want!

BTW....I am the translator of several of the prayers in this that were not extant in Latin. If there are any defects in them feel free to blame me. Basically the choir prayers and the ending prayer were translated by myself with help from some posters at Fisheaters back in 2005. I have had this for sale on Amazon (with the final prayer in honor of Uriel instead of the Guardian Angel...a mistake I made that was subsequently corrected) since 2008. I am taking credit for it so that nobody else comes along and tries to take credit for it....mainly so that they do not try to insist on copyright infringement. I am the author of the original....and at least for that original I grant in perpetuity full permission to use it without any attribution in any form so long as that form honors God, Mary, and the Archangel himself.

Do you do this video to teach and guide those who want to learn this Chaplet in Latin? If yes, why do you pray so fast? What is the purpose of rushing? I am just at 1st Choir and have been rewinding for 10 times I still haven't got it!! So frustrating! This is not helping a beginner like me. May be next time you can record one with slower pace with beginners in mind. Prayer has to be reflective and meaningful, not mechanical, not praying like bullet train. Hope you accept my comments. @@andrewvaccaro1980I like it without the musical distractions, it allows for a more meditative approach as I focus on the words. Also, for family members on the autistic spectrum a frequent bug bear they have is how intrusive background music is, so this is excellent.

Love this but you should slow it down for people who are not proficient in latin and also it is disrespectful to the lord to pray so fast.

You can slow down the video to whatever speed you like by clicking at the top right hand corner of the video (or wherever the ‘Settings’ button is) and change the speed there. I actually slowed myself down to record this. And what does it matter what speed people pray at, so long as their intent is genuine?

Awesome! You did a great job at pronouncing Latin (especially the "r"). Although, there is few mistakes a slower pace could have solve. Like "plena", you have a tendency to say like "plane ah" (like all English speaking natives). You probably know this also but "æ" is pronounced "e" in ecclesiastical Latin. In any case, great work !
