Hi Dr. Wells, I really appreciate your high level of effort you put into your work in providing this information in a way that's more understandable to the average person. Thank You. I have a question for you concerning "prions". An individual infected with prions; can that infected person's "sweat" infect another person with prions?
@peterjf7723 Жыл бұрын
No, prion diseases are either due spontaneous misfolding or a misfolded prion has to be consumed, generally by eating brain tissue. Eating human brains can be very unhealthy. Look up Kuru disease.

Question. Why don't they identify viruses by simply looking at them? Earlier you described the differences in viral appearance in detail but at around 54:54 you talk about identifying a virus with 3 different indirect methods. What am I missing?

1:00:00 I have so many questions about interferons and M.A.B. How is interferon harvested and reproduced in a lab? Which specific interferon combo is being used to "cure" hepC?? What is the cure rate currently?
@ramsese41 Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Question. Can virus infect or invade other viruses? Just curious. Thanks.
