In this video, we will show how to use ANSYS to model a heat sink problem. It will starts from a steady state thermal analysis, based on which a transient thermal analysis and thermal stress analysis are also performed.

Why do we need the property of density when the transient state is calculated?

density is needed for the transient term: rho*c*dT/dt where rho is density and c is specific heat.
