How to fry fresh whole char properly in the pan - fry freshly caught whole char or trout properly in the pan: Here is the list of ingredients for this simple preparation of trout or char properly fried in the pan.Wild catch
1 char or trout per person
1 organic lime - or an organic lemon
1 sprig of sage
3 sprigs of rosemary
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp olive oil - or an oil of your choice
to season with a little salt and pepper. I used white pepper. Fry the char or trout at a medium temperature for about 5 minutes on each side. If you are not sure whether the fish is already done, then tighten carefully the dorsal fin - if it can be easily pulled out, the char or trout is ready; if not, continue to fry for about 2 minutes.
