Big question: Do you use the Bridge? If so What version? How did you install it? Cinema 4D version? Any Non-human characters? Because I've had nothing short of nightmares and hell when using their Bridges. It's "somewhat" hit-and-miss functional but only 'kinda' when I use the Genesis figures but ANYTHING ELSE and its "All joints are oriented to the X/Y/Z planes which is not good for the dragons or anything but a human, and DS Bridge's option to fix the orientation does nothing", weight maps are always a mess, most morphs don't export when they bother exporting at all, and that's just the top of the list of problems I get. Maybe its better in R26/2023?

Yep, Bridge is great and we walk you through the whole process in the course because you're exactly right, it can be a bit tricky;)

@@CGShortcuts I'll give it a look I guess, but I've had nothing but negative experiences with their Bridges. Like I bring in a dragon and the lower jaw's weighting is entirely on the head joint, no Morphs come in, and worse. Since the characters are going to be animated, these are issues that need to be resolved, and the below comment mentions "Aiming for still images" which has me concerned

A bit of an Off topic Question, but have you guys tried Character Creation 4 by Reallusion? If so what's the Main Differences of it and DAZ to Justify the Price differences between both Software?

Cant say I've ever tried Reallusion, but Daz Studio is free so you cant go wrong;)

Good afternoon, there is a problem that when I convert to Redshift in the Cinema 4 bridge. It doesnt work. In this course you explain how to fix this bag?

Does this course cover how to fix Morphs from geografts not showing in C4D? It's an issue thats plagued me. Currently have to use Diffeomorphic for Blender as an alternative.

As we're aiming to render a still image, we get the posing right in Daz first so dont really need the morphs (allthough we do show exporting morphs with the daz 2 c4d bridge)

Redshift is becoming more and more integrated with c4d (as its owned by Maxon) its also free as a CPU renderer. Going forward we'll be using Redshift in all tutorials and courses

@@theripper170 Redshift is used in the course but you can also go with stardard/physical render as well.

@@theripper170 any renderer will work, its mainly about the Daz to C4D workflow - we use Redshift mostly these days

When i convert all materials in redshift materials, they all become black and my character becomes grey... I dont understand.

so there's basically no way to convert any materials to redshift in the latest versions of C4D / redshift / Daz.

If the Daz plugin converter and the built in Redshift material converter dont work, you might just need to recreate the materials as redshift, you'll already have the texture maps from the export so it shouldnt be too painful. If you just make one redshift material you can copy and paste it and just switch out the maps

@@CGShortcuts thx for the response! I already did that… but for the eyes and the hair it seems like a very complicated situation. Eyes are always blurry and grey … hair texture is not correct and I can’t disable the „scalp“ (which has basically no texture)

@@erasedmemories2457with the eyes I think you might just need to move or delete the outer eye shell or give it a clear material, the hair will render faster as sprites as well, I think you can also remove the scalp

@@CGShortcuts For the Hair I decided to load a different type of Hair (without Scalp) and imported that into my C4D scene. That actually worked for me.
