I'm just incredibly amazed how you used this technique to explain fundamentals of coloring/shapes/folds first, and only after that telling us about how to apply this on your work. It's a way more useful then just looking at the whole painting process of yours, without proper understanding how to use this little but important elements. You payed enough attention on explaining theory and practice. Honestly, it's the best video tutorial I have ever seen. You really a great teacher. Thank you

I also agree about the one layer method. It lets me get less fixated on having unnecessary layers and lets me feel like I’m traditionally painting. Many times with pieces that aren’t going the way I want it to, I start over and reduce the amount of layers. Although I agree to have layers when working for clients. I still keep it simple and not go over say 15-20 layer max.
