Just made a Minotaur Battle Master with the Marine background from GoS. Named him Trunn Ironhorn, and he's gonna kick some a$$!

Readied a Drakewarden Ranger who's great-grandparents and his great-gran's dragon abandoned the Dragon Queen's army after faking their death, to instead fight against them and their conquest. He and his family have slowly found the few others in the world who know there is a threat on the horizons to help ready them all for the cause so that they can come out of the shadows from the edges of society to help the empires of Krynn fight against Tahkisis's army. Many of their family are dragon riders including my character, Prynce (said like Prince). However, since the drakewarden doesn't get it's truly powerful abilities till after level 10 with Dragonlance being a 1-10th level campaign, I intend to ask my DM who usually allows for us to push stuff in the name of fun or a cool character concept to allow my dragon to be much larger than normal. They would start as Medium then grow to Large, or if they're really nice, start Large and grow to Huge. I am really excited for when I get to play him :3

My character concept, I'm not sure if I'll ever get to play it. A young Human Fighter (of course). I am currently thinking he is a Knight of Solamnia. I'll have to look at the book to pin it down for sure. The opening adventure has the party en route to the funeral of a mutual friend. However, the twist there is that my character didn't know the person, but his father did. But since his father is unable (either too weak to make the journey, or passed away), he's there to, you might say, represent the family.

The only reference I have to Dragonlance is the “Dragon Codex” series, and the adjacent “A Practical Guide to Dragons/Dragon Riding” books. It’s been a while since I looked into them so I need to soon. I’m very excited for this though. Especially with the Lunar Sorcerer, a subclass I’ve been ecstatic about since the UA!

What I like about Dragonlance's gods is that they take cues from real world mythologies, specifically that the gods are related to one another. For example, Paladine, the leader of the Good Gods (who in addition to being the local aspect of Bahamut) is also the "brother" to the leaders of the other two leaders, Takhisis (also known as Tiamat) and Gilean. He's also married to the goddess of healing, Mishakal, and Kiri-Jolith, Habbakuk, and Solinari are their children. Gilean is the father of Lunitari, though he's a single parent (think Zeus and Athena). Takhisis meanwhile is the mother of Zeboim and Nuitari, who were fathered by Sargonnas. For some reason Shadow of the Dragon Queen doesn't go into this.

I can't say much on the other monster races but on Hobgoblins they are split three ways you have the ones who are fighting for the dragon queen and than you have Hobgoblins who are more civilised that live in cities and lastly you have Hobgoblins who are apart of a tribe I will be playing as a Hobgoblin mercenary who came from a tribe in Estwilde

I’m likely to be DM, but if I get to be a player, I have an idea for a kender Paladin/Bard who’s basically a herald for the Knights of Solamnia.

You know. I have been thinking of how a Hexblade Paladin could work as a good guy. Maybe the character has been blessed by the deity to gain a Celestial Blade. This is a moon themed blade. The Eldritch Blast could be themed as ranged smites.

I really wish we had more 1st party options for playing dragon riders, especially in a Dragonlance campaign, which is supposed to be all about dragon riders. It might be feasible to twist the Drakewarden Ranger into something like that, but I would have loved to have a dragon rider Paladin subclass. The next best thing I can think of is sticking an Oath of Vengeance Paladin on the back of a Dragonnel steed.

I made myself an Aurak Draconian(reflavored Golden Dragonborn) Bloodline Sorcerer from Pax Tharkas (or was it Xak Tsaroth) born inexplicably with a moral compass in a world that hates him, fighting between his Golden Dragon soul he believes Paladine gave him and his Draconian instincts.

Gnomes of Krynn were portrayed notoriously as always tinkering with far fetched hair brained Wiley Coyote inventions that never ever worked as intended but ended up being semi functional for a different purpose. They had an overly complicated Catapult as an elevator Called the Gnome Flinger that worked half the time etc. In Legends Nitch the Gnome is described as the Only Gnome to ever complete his life’s quest invention that all gnomes strive to achieve and he ended up in the abyss. Like it’s so unheard of that Gnome inventions actually work people would be shocked 😂. I feel like Gnomes would be the only option as an Artifcer on krynn and would want to play it accordingly that ya know Their contraption that they use for healing started out as Something else entirely but happens to work as a rejuvenating effect or Steel Defender started out as idk at an attempt to make an automatic industrial sized Coffee Maker but turned out to be an Automaton. Edit: I take it back, Theros Ironfeld was Human and a smith that ended up with a magical silver arm and Helped forge the Dragonlances so I guess there is at least a tiny bit of precedent and wouldn’t be super far fetched that Dwarven or Human Smiths could become believable Artifcers. Maybe even a Knight with Steel Defender Horse Mount.

The ogers were the first race on Kyrnn created by the Queen of Darkness In the style of Onni in 5E granting them a strong Body intelligent mind and a natural gift for magic and shape shifting Over time there hunger for power scarred there beauty. All but a few who banded together to ask Palidine to protect and change them this Became the Irda (Ear-da). But ogers land are covered over and go because they are always trying to strong arm others

What about for the Knights there are two factions one that sticks devotedly to tradition and another that’s about adapting. And you play as an Eldritch Knight and take the Gunner Feat (or Crossbow Expert) to battle dragons that fight in the sky

Neidar Dwarf were the the clan that did most the trading and living in the foot his or the mountains they were caught out when the Great Mountain was closed off during the cadalism which was an asteroid stike that split into 2 hits that was so vast the city of Istar was hit sending it to the center of a newly created sea the size of the gulf of Mexico. The rock was done to stop the King Preist of Palidian (Greater god of good Bahamut) Yes he was Lawful Good but so blinded he wanted to commit genos ide to eradicate the worship of any but the good goods. But anyway because they live in the foot hills of Mount Selsaboon the Neider are commonly called Hill Dwarfs and is is where it came from in 5E. Also The Gnomes of Krynn is Tinker gnomes or as we call them in 5E rock Gnomes. Krynn Gnomes speak less Gnomish but more scientific notation on there Island was a massive explosion which caught the interest of Solomonic knight who the the mountian Island of the knight after talking to the friendly gnome the leader of the knights asked that the name of the mountain was after 5 min of not taking a breath saying the mountain details the knight said 'Oh NEVERMIND !!!' since this the mountain has been known as mount Nevermind. BTW the what they move up and down the mountain is the catapults.

Kinder dont really have sticky fingers and if you say that to them they will say they dont have anything on there hands. The reason kinder barrow with out asking is they have the attention span of children think 8 to 12 and they share everything idealised children for German decent. Get 2 kinder together they will go threw there pouches then got threw there new friends pouches then gather there things back up not caring a third of there stuff went with the other kinder.

Off topic but, why has no one thought of a fairy glamour bard build. I mean glamour bard is as fey you can get. Just seems weird that there are zero videos on the concept. I mean I have one. He is my go to whenever I join in on random campaigns. He is the most bard a bard can bard with out getting more than on bard to bard. One time I seduce a jail cell to open. But at 5:27 after hearing those suggestions, it just makes me mad that this book absolutely abolishes the Lore of Krynn... the whole point is that there are no Cleric's or Paladin's with REAL divine power...y'know, because there are no Gods answering them...except for the Death Cleric's and Oathbreaker Paladin's who serve Tharkisis. Seriously, Why did WotC even release an Adventure Module for a Setting they're not even going to explain and detail in a SETTING book? It boggles my mind to see videos like this on the other settings like Greyhawk, Eberron, and Spelljammer; and they dont even explain why things exist or DONT exist... did you know there's ment to be basically no Arcane magic/spellcasting in Eberron? Thats why you have Artificers... and there's ment to be Mystic's too, because of the Kalashtar's natural Psionics. ...but, no... *Sigh* 5E is such the new "Basic"... EDIT: 13:32 ...No, just...No. This isnt even Dragonlance based Lore if you're just going to have WHATEVER be options for the players... and also, Dragonborn AREN'T Draconians...might as well try to claim Dragonborn and Abashi are the same... This is why 5E has been TERRIBLE for the classic settings... 1. Artificers only exist in Eberron. 2. Outside of worshippers of Tharkisis, there are NO Clerics or Paladins in Dragonlance. 3. The Phlogiston is an important part of Spelljammer; as are Crystal Spheres... its based on a 600 year old (or there abouts) theory about whats beyond Earth. 4. Stop trying to make Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms the same world...they are not. 5. Greyhawk is one of the single most "advanced" Fantasy settings in the D&D Multiverse...naturally, its were Mordenkeinan is from, and where Spelljamming began. 6. Not every race and monster exists in every setting...same with classes...deal with it; thats just what the setting is about. ...and lastly (for now)... Forgotten Realms is where creativity goes to DIE! It sucks! It use to have a point, but WotC buggered that up!
