Seeing Geras having free will in some form is such a massive improvement from MK11, especially with Liu Kang seeing him as a friend rather than a tool. He was a character I just sort of forgot about, to a fleshed out character. MK1 did him, and many other characters, so much justice

The idea of a completely evil Sindel would have worked out better if it happened in an alternate universe and someone else sacrificed themselves to save Earthrealm from Shao Kahn’s conquest. In addition to that, Sindel could have also been portrayed as more manipulative with fake politeness, like Shang Tsung.

I like Kuai Liang doesn't have many questions about the prior timeline he's more focused on the present moment and just has maybe 1 or 3 questions. He's not questioning it he's just going with the flow of things

And then at the end, characters can meet Titan versions of themselves via the alliance against Titan Shang Tsung. I wonder what kind of interactions one could imagine from that? Titan Baraka: "Join me, and your tribe will never go hungry again!" Baraka: "I would rather die a pariah than be another of your rabid predators!" Ashrah: "How did you finally achieve absolution?" Titan Ashrah: "Only after assimilating the goddess of light and virtue herself."

At a guess, because the hourglass showed the killer would be caught, but would also do something significant before they were caught that would benefit the realms like trigger another character’s origin story. Either that or the killer’s identity would trigger a political scandal that would throw Outworld into civil war. Personally, I’ll be interested to hear what Ermac has to say.

Why is previous timeline raiden referred to as a Demi-God? He is a full God and always has been, likewise with Fujin and Argus. They’re immortals as they re manifest after each death. Rain, Taven and Daegon are the only Demi Gods.

He took back his Titan powers to fight Titan Shang Tsung, but the process SHATTERED his immortality, leaving him mortal, but long-lived. and there's no bringing back Titans: Kronika's a prime example.

There are a few references to it, like one of Geras' mirror match intros, or Baraka's mirror match intros, and MK11 events are also referenced in Liu Kang intros

@@BigJohn303those could be still egotistical, like MK1s Shang, united against an existential threat, however my honest opinion is to take that last chapter as half-canonic, where yes there was a multidimensional fight to destroy shang tsung and quanchi, that ended up succeeding and destroying that timeline (kinda? Havock goes back?), however the details are fun first canonicity later
