Fact: mel blanc was at a serious car accident for 2 weeks the doctor said "bugs bunny how are you feeling today?" then mel replied with a weak voice "eeehhh.....Whats up doc?"

Jade Pellesco Alaskey actually voiced Yosemite Sam in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". At that time, Mel Blanc was still alive & voiced all the other Looney Tunes who appeared in that movie. Alaskey was basically the first one to replace Mel Blanc for one role, Bergman was the first one to replace Blanc on numerous roles, but the second person who took the mantle of Looney Tunes roles along with Alaskey.

Wish Mel Blanc reprised his role as Bugs Bunny this time in the 1990 TV series Tiny Toon Adventures because he could’ve recorded his lines and read for the part in early episodes as that would’ve been the last time Mel voiced him before he died.

1 Mel Blanc (The Original and the most memorable) 2 Jeff Bergman (I wish they didn't change his voice but still good) 3 Geg Buson (I like his voice) 4 John Alaskey (Really Good) 5 Nolan Blanc (Not good clip of his Bugs but does good) 6 Billy West (sound a little bit to high for most fans who like the others Bugs but okay)

The pitch might be a little off with the Billy West version, but I think he captures the true essence (attitude, sarcasm, comedic timing, etc.) of Bugs Bunny almost as well as Mel Blanc.

Bergman's work with Warner Bros. began when he recorded a tape of himself as several of Mel Blanc's characters, including Bugs Bunny. He took the tape to the production company and used a switch to toggle back and forth between his work and the original Mel Blanc recording. The producers were unable to tell the difference between the voices, and Bergman became the first performer to provide the voice of Bugs Bunny after Mel Blanc died in 1989.

He taught Noel, but he's never been very interested in following that path, unfortunately. He does bits occasionally here and there though.

He's said he auditioned for numerous projects including Space Jam but for whatever reason he almost never got hired, aside from some toys, commercials, and alarm clocks he's only ever voiced his father's characters in Tiny Toon Adventures and for a Family Guy parody, though he only did Elmer Fudd there.

They all sound very similar, which is both a testament to Mel Blanc for creating the iconic voice and to the other voice actors for being able to mimic it so well. The only one I have an easier time telling the difference with is Billy West. But if I had blind fold and couldn't look at the pictures of them, I'd be hard pressed to tell which was which.

I beg to differ. Not all of the voices sound the same as Mel Blanc's Bugs, except for Jeff Bergman and Noel Blanc which is closest to Mel's voice.

+I'mAlex Not really. Jeff Bergman does the worst job voicing Bugs Bunny (Same with Daffy, Sylvester, Tweety, and Foghorn). As much needed as he was in the 1990s, he really isn't needed by today's standards. I prefer listening to Billy West and Joe Alaskey's takes on Bugs any day.

GottaLoveDepecheMode The new voice is right here in this video. Jeff Bergman. I know what you're talking about though. As good as he sounded back in the early 90's, his Bugs voice isn't all that great now.

Superstarseven Bergman's Daffy has gotten worse as well. Like Bugs Bunny, it started off pretty flawless, but got bad over time.

Mel Blanc will always be in a class of his own, that's a fact. After him, I'd have to go with Joe Alaskey. His rendition of Bugs is the main reason why I loved Looney Tunes: Back in Action

they’re just all so wonderful. original Mel will always give me happy goosebumps though. my favorite of the franchise is Looney Tunes Show so i kind just love Jeff who imitates Bug’s lax side so well. also Noel & Alaskey are both shockingly good!

No one has ever successfully filled Mel Blanc’s shoes as Bugs. It’s a challenging mix of tone, accent, and timing. And none of the others quite have it down.

Despite the fact that Mel Blanc does sound the best as far as quality is concerned, I personally prefer Billy West because I grew up with him and his more laid back spunk voice is soothing to me. My third favorite would be Joe Alaskey. Joe sounds more back tongue than Billy, but he's far better than the remaining actors. By the way, in general every single on of them makes a great Bugs Bunny impersonation.

I say all of them win because Mel is the original Bugs, Greg is a good Bugs on Tiny Toons and did a lot of Bugs in the 90s, Noel is Mel's son, Joe did Bugs in Back in Action, Billy did a pretty good job in Space Jam and Jeff is fantastic on The Looney Tunes Show and Wabbit.

*(Modern day comparison cuz ones out of date at this point)* _1. Mel blanc 🙌🏾 great person outstanding voice._ _2. Joe Alaskey has grown on me SO much, no idea why I ever questioned it. Sounds exactly like Mel!_ _3. Jeff Bergman I like his spin on bugs, I can tell the difference but still have mad respect for the dude_ _4. He was a terrible person but had a great bugs voice. R.I.P. Greg Burgson_ _5. Eric bauza while no he doesn’t sound like Mel as good as joe does it, I’m digging his spin on the character in his own way. Come to think of it, it’s similar to billy wests voice but in my opinion better._ *The rest are kind of meh to me.*

It's impressive that in the US they can still find voice actors for really old cartoon characters with a voice close to the original, it's so different here in Italy, everytime they replace a voice actor it sounds off, i still can't stand the "new" Lupin the Third Italian voice, same goes for Jigen.

Everyone else is doing Mel Blanc's Bugs; but, in fairness to them and Warner Brothers trying to fill the two-ton shoes left behind, they did a hell of a job with the talent to hand. Kudos to the guys trying to duke it out for second place, and the love an passion put into the work. No shame in any of their imitations of the master.

Mel blanc is a legend in the voice acting world, he isn't called the man with 1000 voices for nothing, but second best bugs I'm going with Billy west, but the rest were great too!
