Owen Lattimore was lifelong Communist Sympathizer, (“Symps” in the day’s parlance). It was in part through Lattimore’s influence that China was lost to Mao. If you visit the Korean and Vietnam War Memorials in DC, the names etched into the walls are the legacies of Lattimore’s efforts. Without Communists in power in Peking, there would have been no Korean or Vietnam wars.

The commies won by taking over the democrat party. Freedom here in America has been dumbed down by hypocrites from the left since republicans will not play hardball. The libs these days are relentless cockroaches with their irrationality. It's tough to beat these activists who abuse their individual liberty to deride the U.S.

You'll rarely see an example of someone so skillfully outlawyering another. Welch was was a brilliant litigator and his knowledge of the law is so much greater than McCarthy's. Cohn was a good lawyer, clearly cagier than McCarthy, and a better criminal lawyer than a civil one, but he too was out lawyered here. Cohn kept his mouth shut as often as he could, and so escaped with his legal reputation. McCarthy, by contrast, lost any legal, and any political reputation he had before these hearings. It was an extraordinary error for the committee to go after the US Army. Or perhaps by contrast, a better idea by the US Army to hire Welch. The disparity in knowledge of the law, the disparity in the ability to wield that knowledge is remarkable. The US Army did well in hiring Welch. He damn near had the entire committee behind him by the end. Senator Symington handled himself well too. McCarthy vainly calling out accusations as the committee leaves was a powerful image, indelibly injuries to McCarthy. The lesson ? Don't slander the US Army.

I'm currently writing a speech on America and where we as a country go next. I've decided to play off McCarthy here. In 1963 (I believe) he stood before congress and read them a warning. A list of 40 (ish, I forget how many exactly) goals to reach for a communist country. Its quite disturbing reading it 60 years down the road when so much has changed and a lot of things on the list have unfortunately happened. So I'm basing my speech of it because if we as a country continue in the direction we're headed, we're heading straight towards a communist country. Unless we unite and try to stop it. United we stand, divided we fall...

I wish there were an impartially compiled "batting average" for McCarthy's accusations, including any changes based on what we have learned from Venona, etc. He certainly was onto Hiss. I read "Blacklisted by History," but too many commentators either loved or hated McCarthy. I'd like a more phlegmatic analysis, with the emotion taken out.

Mc Carthy ,today would be amazed just how many Communists were in the US government. I have a Russian book here written by a Pavel Sudoplatov, who was entirely unknown outside of moscow but was the big cheese of the NKVD then KGB .In his book(written in 1994) he gave the names of many soviet operatives working in the USA and just how far back they went . In fact, years before WW2 . How else were they able to explode a nuke when the rest of the world had no idea they even had nuclear potential ? Todays holly wood is infested with communists and many don't hide their politics. Also, we can also see that the Generals appointed by obama are all leftists. Mc Carthy didn't have the internet .If he did he would have raked in dozens of them .

I have been collecting these old films for about 15 years. I found them at garage sales, estate sales and auctions. I still get new film about once every couple months. Somehow it finds its way to my front door and I am thankful for that. I have several reels of 35 mm and from 28 mm that I have not processed because I’m liking the equipment. Someday I’ll have that available as well. I like your screen name. I believe it is the only thing that was going to save this country in the end. Thank you for watching

Old film is shot frame by frame, in other words depending on the film type a d speed you would need a certain number of frames to create one second of film. Each frame being a still image representing A frozen moment in time. My equipment takes photographs of each and everyone of those frames and creates a digital print that can be posted to the Internet but more importantly it is much easier to manipulate, correct and repair all of the flaws from the damaged Film. All of these videos that I have posted to KZfaq or digital copies of actual films that I own. I don’t copy or steal anything from anybody. It is all my own investment and work. I only say that because there are people that have channels on KZfaq based on material they have absconded with from other channels. That’s a lot of work and one hell of a lot of investment but I feel like it gives my life purpose. Thank you for watching

Do your research! He was the George Santos of the 1940's. He lied about combat missions even going so far as to say he was wounded in action. In reality, he got hurt partying on a ship! He even tried to write his own Commendation and slip it through with legitmate ones to get Admiral Nimitz to sign it.

And I’ll bet you have no clue that the current administration has sold us out to the CCP, has taken provable billions in bribes from several countries including Ukraine and has weaponized the FBI, CIA, Big tech and the main stream media against their political opponents, and you and I. Please, yes we will take a bombastic overly egotistical braggart over the thieving traitors that are destroying this country from the Oval Office right now. You should try doing some research so your grandchildren are not slaves and will still be English speaking free Americans when they grow up. Just a thought.

@@OfficeofImageArchaeology Putin spent a generation, his formative years, as a KGB agent until the fall of the Soviet Union and Perestroika. He harbours a deep nostalgia for the Soviet days. He mimics their aggressive expressionism. He views the United States as a threat, NATO, and Western democracies as the chief threat to his tyrannical dictatorship. Trump is the best weapon he has, which is immediately clear to anyone familiar with Putin, his methods and regime. Putin has no use for democracy. And absolutely no use for the freedoms McCarthy supported. McCarthy would see the threat. Strange that people today cannot..
