I knew this all along. Ohtani is a great human being. He would not have betted on sports under any circumstances. It's all Mizuhara's doing. This should clear Ohtani's name. We can all move on. No more speculation about Ohtani and gambling.

It's true that they investigated thousands of cell phone connections and couldn't find any allegations Ohtani usually trusts people and is a very exemplary person. I hope will get he out of disappointment

The people who call Ohtani "fool" in this case are ordinary people who care more about money than baseball. Ohtani is a strange guy who values baseball more than money. No more than that. Ohtani needed an assistant for opening his first bank account when he came over to the states. Ippei was sneaky and misused the information he gained while helping Ohtani. Don’t blame the victim.

if you were a super star player in foreign countres, you need someone who speaks the language and take care of bank accounts. He had several accounts but he had never touched income from baseball. They were all accumulated for the future so that he could use something useful for the future. Mizuhara knew that the frozen account would be never checked if he changes the notification number.

I love how the reporter said.This is the only way it could have happened That his interpreter slash busiess manager did it. It's very possible that an inside bank job could have happened and they pinned it on him. I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

Ohtani just like otaku but in baseball form. I heard he didnt leave the team dorm when he still in japan and didnt have driving license. Basically all he care is baseball. I think he learn the hard way, he need to be more independent in a way. As someone who doesnt speak english as my first language. I understand to communicate using english is not that easy especially if u start to learn when u older. To understand the conversation is easy but when u have to speak in correct grammar and in formal setting, i understand his difficulty

Good point. However there is no hard evidence to prove Othani was involved in gambling. Accusing someone is one thing. Backing it up with hard evidence is quite another. But you need hard evidence otherwise it is hearsay and conjecture.
