As he said himself, he treats his time as Charice to be a role that he had fulfilled and experienced. For him, it's like Charice is his Alter Ego, he played the role of Charice for her loved ones and to give entertainment and fun to the audience. And now this time, he finally decided to end his role as Charice and do something not for others but for himself, even at the cost of his career as Charice he still wanted to do something for himself and that is to be what he wants to be. Listen and understand the lyrics of this song "Let my heart speak louder than my head" And he did, although I'm aware of that I still miss Charice. That's why I thank her for leaving us such wonderful songs and performances for us to listen even if she's not here anymore.

Charice was very special! She was the FIRST Asian (pure blooded- Asian) Artist to reach the Top 10 Billboard Hit Chart! Lea Salonga came first in the International scene and brought pride and honor to the Philippines when she became the star for Miss Saigon and the voices of Disney Princesses' Jasmine and Mulan, but I have to say, that when Charice blew Ellen Degeneres and Oprah away on their respective shows, it opened the door for other Asian artists to be recognized and become popular in the whole world. CHARICE/ JAKE ZYRUS, mahal ka pa rin naming mga Chasters! Sana kantahin mo pa rin yung mga dati mong songs. We badly miss your original and brilliant voice!!!

The person you replied to erred only by not using the past tense, when referring to Charice, which is correct and appropriate, because at the time that this song was recorded and video shot "Zack" didn't exist, and Charmaine Clarice Mendez Pempengco was just a lesbian without any self admitted gender identity issues at this time. Bruce Jenner won gold at the olympics, not caitlyn. Just because a very driven athletic man named bruce won gold and 40 years later decided to "identify" as a woman doesn't change who or which gender won that medal, likewise time and transitions and gender identity crises don't change the past either. This human who recorded this song even agrees, though though a different lens that I admittedly don't fully understand or consider legitimate (same with gender identity issues being solved with surgery and reassignments). "Zack" said that he was "thankful for Charice's life" and career and she helped him tremendously in his career but that he "wants to leave her behind because that's hers." Very detached and almost speaking about someone not themselves but also someone who had died.

I hate how now that Charice has finally become comfortable in who she is, the world does not really want to accept her. No she did not change and no she won't "come back" whatever that means. She is who she is. Sorry she's not your "ideal idol", but she's a great role model. She shows how the most important thing in the world is not how rich you are, but how happy you are with yourself, how comfortable you are with yourself, even if the world does not want to accept you. I love you Charice, I think you're amazing and such a great inspiration for being true to yourself. You are beautiful and perfect, and don't let anyone tell you different. i remember the days when internet at home wasn’t a thing yet for expats here in saudi arabia because it was only for citizens. so we would go to internet cafés for anything we would like to do online. and i’d spend those late night after-duty hours just to get to youtube and watch charice. i was able to ‘recruit’ some of my friends into becoming fans of her and we still are up to now. no matter what, i will always love this artist. ♥️♥️♥️
