Back in 1957, This is the song that was played at the award ceremony of the Trillium Lakelands Rock Throwing Championship. I'll never forget the tears running down my face as I accepted the trophy for 17th place. I swore that I would pass down the tradition to the youth of 2021. I assumed that there would be hover boards by now.

I think this most beautiful rendition of Chariots of Fire should be the international Olympic Theme song for all time. It so represents the burning fires of determination in the hearts of young athletes, the beauty and grace of human form, the soaring spirit, the intensity of desire, and the glory and thrill of victory. Thank you, London Symphony Orchestra for playing it so well and Vangelis for writing it.
