@@andrewpyrah I don't have any interest in going back and forth over how one should pronounce his name, it means nearly nothing to me. What is most important is his character, and that is the key to understanding his "name" and "image" in scripture. The true God is Love, and morally perfect in every way. Not like the spiritual powers in control right now, they are hypocrites and rule as evil tyrants that hate the truth. These spiritual powers get the whole world believing lies and chasing vain glory in themselves. Everybody wants to argue about what we should call him, or how to pronounce his name, but it means very little. So what if one did happen to know the one correct way to pronounce his name, but prayed to him as if he was a hypocrite bigot like the world is tricked into following after? God would obviously much prefer we understand his true character, rather than bickering over what we should call him.

Ancient humans were smarter and more capable than we give them credit for. Not saying Von Daniken is 100% wrong, but to say all this had to have been built/invented by aliens is, I believe, facile. We can't figure out how they built something, so it had to be aliens! We discovered Neptune and Pluto relatively recently so of course the ancients couldn't have known about them! While I firmly believe that other life in the universe exists, I don't know what if anything was brought to earth by these entities.

You can't "debunk" speculation, and his theories have NEVER been shown to be impossible. Because of your grammar (no criticism, just a statement), I don't entirely understand your post, but there are multiple reasons why hiding underground is much safer than anywhere else: in the cases of these cities they are finding in the Derinkuyu region of what is now Turkey, which are connected by underground tunnel systems, and water with undergeound streams, these cities offer complete safety for up to nearly 30,000 people per city. They have hidden entrances on the surface, and once in an en trance, there is a fact they don't mention: there are multi-ton stone doors (circular, on tracks, which could be opened - and closed (with one hand) - only from the INSIDE, and were narrow enough that any enemy would have to file into these tunnels single-file, making them claustrophobic sitting ducks for defenders firing from slots above the tunnels. They would quickly become clogged with dead bodies, and with no way in or out, would die. The defenders, meanwhile - underground, in a sealed city with a fresh-water supply designed to supply every level (the largest so far is 27 levels, I believe), and heated hot springs for baths and hot water, wine presses, stables, play and multi-purpose areas, private quarters, meeting and religious chambers, graineries, kitchens, and a cleverly-designed system of ventilation and lighting that allowed them to live nearly indefinitely - in complete safety - underground. The cities were connected by underground tunnels, allowing them (in the event of extended hiding) to replenish their stocks from far-away fields via streams that flowed down into the rock, into and up sub-terranean tunnels. There is NO surface hiding place that would be as safe or comfortable. 30,000 people allows a free, happy social life, comfort, and safety, up to 300 feet underground in rock, and offers also a comfortable and constant temperature. These cities were so secure, undocumented, and well-designed, that they were not re-discovered until modern times, when a family was enlarging a home partially dug into the rock, and the wall gave way and revealed a tunnel, which upon inspection became one of many enormous underground cities, which are still being discovered. 27 stories is at least 300 feet underground, and complete protection from, rain, snow, solar flares, aerial attacks - everything, with no power - and they were very spread out. These are massive, complex cities, whose systems are simply genius - incredible. They first tried to say they are from early Christian times when they were being persecuted by Rome, but the more that are discovered, and their size, makes this absurd. They are likely VERY old - lost in time, actually. But these are incredible technological feats of engineering. Since we can't date rock, they don't really know HOW old these cities are - but they were built in a way no one has ever seen, and 27 or more stories packed with carved-out chambers, stairs winding to other places and levels - a maze, like a human ant-warren - without a single cave-in between chambers. We would need all kinds of equipment to do this today - how did they do it - or was it done for them? They resemble, more than anything, the secret cities built underground today in which people (government officials, Military, and Elites - not everyone, as these apparently were built for) will go if a nuclear war or other disaster happens to the surface, while we fry on the surface. When you say "in that time," understand that we don't have any idea when these were built - they could even be pre-flood, from a previous civilization - we don't know. Turkey is becoming VERY interesting, with the discovery of these cities, and 11,500-year-old structures like Gobekli-Tepe, and other things that just shouldn't be where they are, and are breaking the theories of Archeology. There were only supposed to be primitive Hunter-gatherers there when Gobekli Tepe was built, and they are trying very hard to fit it into their "linear History" paradigm - with little or no success - so they ignore it (this should be world-wide news). "Hunter-Gatherers," building a 15-acre, complex set of stone rings, with bas-relief carved "T-shaped" figures in them, in rings, and sophisticated sculptures, layed out as an astronomical calendar? It doesn't fit - somethings wrong, and we are being lied to about our history. So, really - who was smarter - those "hiding" underground, in comfort and safety, or those attacking? Which do you think won? Attackers run out of supplies, ammunition, and patience. Defenders just go on with their lives.

The implications will be hysterical gabbling from those who have based their entire belief system on "one species, one planet" - and then people will have to go back to work to pay their mortgages and eat. It may actually unite people who thought of themselves as "different from others," and make us realize we have more in common than differences. God forbid.
