Cordelia was a fantastic character who shaped both shows in memorable ways. She deserved a better conclusion to her story.

I love her character and was seriously pissed how the show got rid of her and now learning she was the lowest paid really pisses me off about Hollywood!!!!

I feel so frustrated for her and am glad she is now speaking out on these issues that she faced. Proud of her. She was always my favourite character, in fact, the guitar that I have had for over a decade is named Cordelia!

She had been telling her story at Cons for YEARS. Its only recently that fans are starting to listen because the fanbase turned on Joss.

Pretty much the store of the world. People of power have been getting away with this for years and it’s just started to finally get some attention with social media putting it out to the world. I’ve hated Joss since the first time I heard about this years ago. It’s messed up it took till now for a black man for people to actually start listening

Season 4 & 5 were no good but I still appreciate having them but I hated that cordelia & Doyle were killed off :(

Angel wasn't the same after Charisma got fired, IMO. I missed her character so much

Thank you for sharing this interview. It was so great to hear her. I still adore her to this day. Like everyone else, I knew something had to be going on behind the scenes during season 4. To see such a well established character be dismantled that way. It was infuriating to watch. To this day, whenever I rewatch the DVDs, I can’t bring myself to start season 4. The Faith episodes I watch but nothing earlier or after Faith during season 4. What they did with Cordelia and Connor...ugh. So glad she is sharing her truth now.

its not her truth, its her view of what happened from her point of view, and to only hear one side of the story, and not hear the studio's side of it, or joss whedans is so one sided. using the word her truth makes no sense what so ever. is joss and the wb or universal art the other studios not allowed to have their truths?

@@oldhollywoodfan8009 No reasonable person would believe her, it's a given that ppl talk ill of the boss that fired them. There are strong incentive to lie when a celebrity is promoting their project or book. About 1/2 the US population doesn't know humans are motivated by incentives. Hearsay isn't evidence, it's rumor. Anyone can make up a rumor, gossip is very dysfunctional. Just imagine the gossip on that set.

Shes been telling this story for more than a decade now. The fans are only listening because all of a sudden they hate Joss. Before, all they did was defend him.

God, she went through hell and was manipulated and gaslighted for it for years following, which was another hell in itself. There's still great double standards today in most industries, as much as me too has progressed things- and I think that was her main point.

There's not double standard, there is fiction. The show was fiction, your comment is fiction, her performance here is fiction. Some dysfunctional ppl think fictions are real and act on them in stupid ways the effect real things.
