The difference between Back To Back and other diss tracks is that those other songs had bars from start to finish. Compared to other songs Drake's diss is just okay but the bar has been set so low these days by mainstream artists that it's being overhyped. It's not even close to being Top 5 all-time. It sounds like Charlamagne was more impressed by Drake even responding and being relentless than the actual song.

B2B is a decent rap song, but a weak diss record. Drake drops about 3 good jabs on Meek throughout the whole song. Yet people act like Meek was getting bodied throughout the whole track.

You hip hop fans are naive if you think Drake thought B2B would be on the same level as Ether, Takeover or No Vaseline. Drake didn't write this to be consider one of the best diss songs ever, he specifically wrote it to be a club record and radio hit so that it would follow Meek everywhere he go and bother him. It was only suppose to get Meek to respond back on track, so that Drake could then end him with the 3Peat. Yes he wrote. The producer of the track and many others witness him write this live in the studio. He could not risk anything happening with reference tracks because an insider of his camp gave the tracks to Dj Drama. So he had to write this himself for security. The setup was this, Drake was going hit him with the three piece which was B2B, then Meek was suppose return with a strong comeback and that's when Drake was going to hit him with the haymaker and knock him out with "3Peat"( real ether). It was said that Drake did B2B and "3Peat" in the same session. According to interview Drake did with Fader, he was shocked that Meek went down from the three piece( B2B) and didn't get up.Drake was ready to go to war with Meek and anybody backing him (Jay Z, Puffy and Rick Ross) but Meek wasn't prepared for war. Charlamagne, Ja Rule, Hot 97 and other rappers are not overhyping B2B, they are just amazed how Drake prevailed against the certain hip hop machine. Contrary to belief majority of the industry niggas hate Drake, because he's arrogant, dominating game non-stop and Canadian.
