Breakfast Club has done things I don’t agree with, but I respect Charlemagne and the cast for keeping this show with its majority black base despite being at mainstream popularity. So often black media would be compromised by the influx of white viewers, losing touch with the black base that got them to a wider audience. 1. Charlamagne was doing his job by stating his opinion (I agree with it) 2. The manager should not have been disrespectful to him on stage 3. The manager’s refusal to shake his hand and use vulgar language escalated negativity in a public setting and should have addressed the situation in private. 4. Charlemagne should not allow someone else’s lack of professionalism cause him to stoop to his level. Be better than him.
