كاتب ومؤلف ومغنّي وممثل فرنسي- أرمني. كتب أكثر من ألف أغنية وقدّم أكثر من مئة ألبوم غنائي. غنّى الحبّ بالفرنسية والروسية والإنكليزية والأرمنية والإيطالية والإسبانية وقد حلّت أغنيته "هي" في المرتبة الأولى لأعلى المبيعات في المملكة المتحدة في السبعينات. وُصف بالمطرب الأسطوري وحصل على نجمته على رصيف المشاهير في هولييود في العام 2017. حصد العديد من االجوائز، وما زالت حفلاته تلقى رواجاً كبيراً.

Charles Aznavour is a French, later naturalized, Armenian singer. He is also a songwriter, an actor, a public activist and a diplomat. Aznavour is known for his unique tenor voice. In a career spanning over 80 years, he has sold 200 million records and has been dubbed France's Frank Sinatra. He was recognized as the century's outstanding performer edging out Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan. He founded the charitable organization Aznavour for Armenia along with his long-time friend impresario Levon Sayan.
